Murderface, Swisher, Nathan, Pickles and Toki.

Dethklok are the main protagonists of the Adult Swim animated program Metalocalypse. The band tends to enjoy all things brutal and violent, but they are actually the heroes of the series and they are not evil, just really stupid at times. All members are psychologically messed up and cling to each other because they have no one else, even though they hate each other's guts (on the outside). Then from Season 3 onward, they start caring and looking out for each other then acknowledge each other as true brothers in The Doomstar Requiem.

However, after going through four seasons being selfish and treating everyone around them with disrespect and having their actions being thrown in their faces in The Doomstar Requiem, they realize after defending themselves against a crowd of junkie musicians through kindness that being kind and generous is actually better than how they acted before.

In the series finale, they perform the Song of Salvation, stopping molten metal from the Doomstar from pelting the earth and ending the titular Metalocalypse. They then share their mystical gift of the Dethlights with their fans, the Army of the Doomstar, to push the evil Salacia into Norwegian lake, where the Whale Pophet eats him. Nathan thanks the fans for their help, realizing the Great Reuniting that the prophecy spoke of was this grand battle where Dethklok was supported by their fans.

• Dethklok is mystically protected and thus cause death and destruction by accident whenever somone has malicious intent towards them.
• Each member of the group represents an aspect that helps facilitate the Prophecy of the Metalocalypse.

• The group originally had a different fifth member named Magus Hammersmith, but he was kicked out for being too controlling. Nathan, however, did ensure he got credit for making The Hammer song.
