Dialla Reineheart is the main protagonist of Trapped Trilogy videogames.
Biography[]
Dialla is a detective. She is investigating crimes committed by a certain Daniel McNeely. Her goal is to put him in prison. But in the first game, the main protagonist is not she, but Dan himself (who for some reason lost his memory). According to the plot of the first game, Dialla herself has a supporting role here. She only helps Den move the sofa closer to the closet, after which masked bandits burst into the room, and Dan hides, but Dialla does not have time. There is no further mention of her. In the second part, she and her partner Mickey go in search of Dan McNeely (before leaving the house, Dialla is attacked by Dan's henchman (presumably it was Merik)). Finding Dan and his gang's hideout, Mickey goes to him and locks Dialla in the car. She gets out and goes after him. Entering the gang's lair, she discovers a seriously wounded Mickey, who dies in her arms. Then she finds the gang, and McNeely finds her. This ends the second game. The third game begins with the same scene where the second ended. Dialla locks McNealy in a cell, but he breaks free and locks Dialla herself in the same cell. McNeely's henchman Merik offers to bring Mickey's body, and McNeely orders him to do just that. Then Dan and Merik leave. With the help of a guy named Jason White, who is sitting in the next cell, Dialla manages to break out of the cell and free Jason himself, but he tries to rape her, and she hits him with a knife and pushes him away from her. Then she goes into the next room and finds documents confirming the gang's guilt in the crimes Dialla is investigating. Merik appears and Dialla is forced to engage in a shootout with him. Dialla kills Merik. Then she goes into the next room. There she is overtaken by Jason White, but Dan McNeely kills Jason. Den offers Dialla a chance to leave. She finds a document confirming that the leader of the criminal group is not Dan, but Dialla herself (Dialla found the same card from Mickey a little earlier). The final dialogue mentions that Dialla used to date Dan, but they broke up. Dialla wants to leave, but behind the door with the sign “Exit” there is a pond. Dan shoots Dialla in the shoulder, but she shoots him. After this, Dialla puts Dan in a safe, closes the safe and throws it into a pond. After that she lies down on the floor. It is unknown what happened to her after this. She may have died from her wounds.
Personality[]
Dialla is your typical cool girl. She is a private detective and fights a dangerous criminal gang (although it is unknown for how long, it is implied that she has been doing this for a very long time). However, in the end it turns out that she herself is the head of this criminal group (although the player is never given a direct understanding of how this happened, however, given that she previously met with the main villain of the game Dan, it can theoretically be assumed that he somehow influenced her memory or falsified documents indicating her involvement in this gang in case she decided to look for incriminating evidence against him, as indicated by his complete calm when she directly tells him that she found evidence against him). She is also very brave and resilient. Even after being captured, she continues to fight Dan and his gang and wins. She also defeats Jason, who tried to rape her (even though Dan kills him, she still fights him back at least once). And although the entire first game she either lies tied up or does not participate in what is happening at all (all her actions boil down to the fact that she helped the guy who lost his memory (who turned out to be Dan) move the bed), in the second and third games she compensates for this. Unfortunately, her boyfriend Mickey dies, and although she defeats Dan, we don't know what happened to him after she threw him into the water. In addition, Dan himself managed to shoot her in the shoulder and in the end she fell and closed her eyes. The viewer is never given any idea whether she survived or not.
Trivia[]
- She is similar to Rick from Myosotis. They are both characters from fantasy video game franchises, who both lose their lovers and try to avenge them. Athough Rick manages bring Lilly back to life. On the other hand, Dialla fights the main antagonist and Rick doesn't.
