Dilys Price is a (former) secondary protagonist in the childrens' show Fireman Sam, she is the mother of Norman Price and the owner of her general shop.
In the first four seasons, Dilys is voiced by John Alderton, who also voices all the other characters and provides the narration. In season 5, Dilys is voiced by John Sparkes, who also voices Fireman Sam, Elvis Cridlington, Station Officer Steele, Norman Price, Mike Flood, Trevor Evans, Tom Thomas and Dusty (although he does not speak), as well as The Farmer and Bitzer in Shaun the Sheep and the narrator along with a few other characters in Peppa Pig. Since season 6, she is now voiced by Su Douglas, who also voices Helen Flood, Mandy Flood and Lily Chen.
Personality and background[]
Dilys Price is the town gossip, but she's also a very friendly invididual too, as she is friends with everyone in Pontypandy.
She is also the mother of Norman Price and although she dotes on her only child, giving him names like "Mummy's little darling" and "My brave little pumpkin", she sometimes scolds him for doing something bad, usually yelling "Norman!".
She also typically worries whenever an emergency is happening, like when her shop is on fire or if Norman Price is in danger, it is most notable in the episode "Twist of Fate", where she relies that Norman Price, Mandy Flood and Station Officer Steele were taking much longer than usual in their cave trip and begins to worry about Norman.
She has had a crush on Trevor Evans from the very first episode, and from the CGI Series onwards, it appears that he may feel the same way.
