Dipstick is the son of Pongo and Perdita, the brother of their 14 other puppies, the adoptive brother of the 84 Dalmatian puppies, the husband of Dottie, the father of Domino, Little Dipper and Oddball, a minor character in the 1996 film 101 Dalmatians, a recurring character in its television series of the same name and a main character in its 2000 sequel 102 Dalmatians.
In 101 Dalmatians, Dipstick was one of the 15 puppies stolen from Roger and Anita Dearly by Jasper and Horace on the orders of Cruella De Vil, who wishes to make a coat from the puppies' fur. Luckily, Pongo and Perdita are able to rescue them and return them home along with 84 other Dalmatian puppies stolen by Jasper and Horace.
In the TV series, which sees the Dalmatians and the Dearly's move to a farm, Dipstick along with his brother Wheezer and sister Two-Tone, forms a gang with the farm's dog Mooch.
In 102 Dalmatians, which takes place three years after the original film, Dipstick is now an adult and is now owned by a probation officer named Chloe Simon. He mates with Chloe's other Dalmatian Dottie and has three puppies with her; two sons named Domino and Little Dipper, and a daughter named Oddball (who doesn't get spots until the end of the film).
