Doctor (real name unknown) is a supporting character in the Dog Man franchise.

He/She is voiced by Rahnuma Panthaky in the 2025 film adaptation.

Appearance[]

He resembles a black doctor with hair like that of Petey the Cat's Butler. He has small strands of hair as his mustache underneath his red nose, and usually is seen wearing doctoring gear.

Personality[]

His true personality is unknown, as with each of his appearances he is shown with a different attitude. He has been shown to be determined, lose all hope, gleeful, but never one single thing that can be deciphered.

Past[]

While his past is unknown, it can be assumed that during his young adult years he would take the required courses to collect a doctorate. He would also be shown to be best friends with Nurse Genie S. Lady.

Dog Man[]

He is shown with his best friend Nurse Lady reluctantly telling the dying police officer duo Officer Knight and Greg the Dog. He would later cheer for Nurse Lady's idea to sew the non dying parts of the duo together to ultimately create Dog Man, and would help with the process.

Cat Kid Comic Club[]

Excluding the many prolouge chapters about creating Dog Man throughout the rest of the series, his next appearance would be in Cat Kid Comic Club, after he and Nurse Lady were called to help the adoptive father of the troublesome Baby Frogs, Flippy, be able to talk with his children. Nurse Lady would eventually succeed in showing Flippy to be a good and loving father.

Dog Man: The Scarlet Shedder[]

He, along with many other doctors and nurses, can be found attending Nurse Lady and Chief Clarence Bailey's wedding.

Movie[]

It is confirmed that he will appear in the film. While not much of his role is known, it is known that, like in the books, he would share the heartbreaking news to the police officer duo Officer Knight and his dog Gregory "Greg" the Dog. He would also aid in creating Dog Man after Nurse Lady's genius idea.
