Richard Daniel Sanchez from Dimension J19ζ7, better known as Doofus Rick, is a supporting character in the Rick and Morty franchise. He is an alternate version of Rick who is considered to be the dumbest among them and frequently gets bullied for it. Due to their similarities, he ends up befriending Jerry Smith. He is also from the same dimension as Doofus Jerry.
Biography[]
This version of Rick never had any family of his own but at some point adopted an Eric Stotz-looking Morty.
In "Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind", he appears as one of the Ricks seaching for Rick C-137 after being framed for murdering multiple Ricks, befriending Jerry while staying at the Smith house.
Personality[]
Unlike other Ricks who are sociopaths, Doofus is a kind-hearted individual who is polite to all and befriends Jerry Smith. He is the only person to show acceptance of his R2-D2 coin collection.
