Dora-rinho is one of the main protagonists of The Doraemons, a spin-off manga and anime movie special series of Doraemon. He is a member of the Doraemons and a genius soccer athlete, notable for his forgetfulness. As such, he serves as the team's mood-maker. He lives in Brazil.

He was voiced by Teiyū Ichiryūsai.

Appearance[]

Dora-rinho has a blue body with yellow mustaches, and a face lack of expression that makes him look simple-minded. He wears footballer clothes.

Personality[]

Dora-rinho's most notable trait is his dizziness, not caring at all about impending dangers, making him an easy target for his enemies. He is also extremely forgetful, even to things that just happened, usually after walking three steps away. This has become one of the series' running gags.

On the other hand, Dora-rinho is happy-go-lucky and uplifts the team's mood whenever they are down. He is also energetic to the point of carrying out his tasks in haste, which however always inevitably ends in disasters. Dora-rinho loves football and his dream is to become the best footballer.

Dora-rinho's favorite way of eating dorayaki is with plenty of Tabasco.

History[]

Dora-rinho was one of seven students of the Robot Academy that were considered to be very mischievous and often breaking rules. Initially, they barely knew each other, but one day, Sunekuchi and Jaides suggest Doraemon to find the legendary Friendship Telecards. In truth, they want Doraemon to help them steal gadgets. The task fails and Sunekuchi and Jaides are imprisoned, forcing Doraemon to find a way to rescue them. His girlfriend, Noramyako, introduces Dora-rinho, Dora the Kid, Wang Dora, Dora-nichov, Dora Med III and El Matadora. The seven then successfully rescue Sunekuchi and Jaides.

From that point on, the seven robots become close friends and use the Friendship Telecards to combat the forces of evil. Due to their deeds, Principal Teraodai often provides orders and helps for them from behind the scenes. Due to his happy-go-lucky personality and forgetfulness, he serves as the team's mood-maker. Besides saving the world, he also joins an unnamed football club along with his best friend Nobinho, where he serves as an ace Forward and Coach simultaneously.
