Dr. Barbara Lake is a supporting protagonist in the Tales of Arcadia franchise, appearing in Trollhunters and Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. She is the mother of Jim Lake Jr. who works at the Arcadia Memorial Hospital and takes care of the patients there, and is willing to do anything to protect her son from harm.
She is voiced by Amy Landecker.
Personality[]
Ever since her husband, James Lake Sr., left from her and her son without a trace, Barbara was left taking care of her son all by herself. She is very protective of Jim, as she became increasingly worried about him when he ended up at the hospital after he was attacked by Nomura. When she found out that she was lied to by him, Barbara was desperate to find out the truth about what he was doing at night. She was even willing to sacrifice her own life for the protection of the world as she told Stricklander not to use the Staff of Avalon to free Morgana from her prison, showing how selfless she truly is.
