Dr. Ed Grant is the head scientist of the Zenith Team. He is portrayed by Actor Chevy Chase who also played Clark Griswold in the Vacation series. Although he has no super powers, Dr. Grant is a highly intelligent man, who can sometimes prove to be very gullible.

When he reunited with Jack he offered him to train a new Team Zenith and after Jack refused he pulled a gun and accidentally shot him with Intoxicating dart. When Jack woke up Grant said that he could go to jail or train The New Team Zenith for $500 000. During the auditions Dr.Grant is blinked at, sneezed on and left slightly cooler by the fanning of one girls eyelashes. Along with Zoom and Miss Hollaway, Dr. Grant helped the new Zenith Team with thier special training. When Jack and Mr. Pibb reunited and Summer used her telekinesis on Mr. Pibb Grant said that he isn't thinking and Summer revealed that Dr. Grant is thinking about training figure skating. He even got tortured by Cindy, Summer and Tucker in a special room where he got zapped, snowed and sprayed by skunk.
