Dr. Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack, simply known as Dr. Cossack is a supporting character in the Mega Man Classic series, serving as the secondary antagonist of Mega Man 4 and an unseen protagonist of Mega Man 5.
Starting off as an antagonist in Mega Man 4, it is later revealed that he was forced to work under Dr. Wily after the latter kidnapped his daughter, Kalinka Cossack. As seen in the manual of Mega Man 5, he is the creator of Beat, who assists Mega Man in defeating Dr. Wily and the Dark Man robots.

Dr. Cossack has a fair skin complexion, green eyes, and brown hair and a beard. He wears black glasses, a yellow shirt, a green necktie, a white lab coat, light brown work pants, and orange shoes.
Biography[]
Mega Man 4[]
In the manual, Dr. Cossack sent a message to Dr. Light, stating that he created eight Robot Masters (which consists of Bright Man, Toad Man, Drill Man, Pharaoh Man, Ring Man, Dust Man, Dive Man and Skull Man) in order to take over the world, in order to show that he is a genius. After defeating the eight Robot Masters and making his way up to the Cossack Citadel, Mega Man encounters Dr. Cossack at the Cossack Catcher. As the Cossack Catcher is out of health, Proto Man and Kalinka arrive at the scene to warn that Dr. Cossack had been working under Dr. Wily because the latter captured Kalinka.
As father and daughter reunite, Dr. Cossack realizes his errors and apologizes to Mega Man for the chaos he has caused.
Mega Man 5[]
Although he is unseen, he is mentioned to be the creator of Beat, a robotic bird that helps Mega Man defeat Dr. Wily. The manual also mentions that he informed Mega Man of Dr. Light's capture and increased the firepower of the Mega Buster shots.
Mega Man 11[]
While he doesn't appear in-game, Dr. Cossack is mentioned to have built Tundra Man, which is one of the eight Robot Masters fought in the game.
