Dr. TC is the deuteragonist of Tyler, The Creator's WOLF trilogy, starring as the deuteragonist of the first two studio albums, BASTARD & GOBLIN, and the tritagonist of his third album, WOLF.
He initially presents himself as a councillor who wants to help a troubled, unruly young boy named Tyler over the course of three sessions, but by the end of the third, reveals himself to be a manifestation of Tyler's conscience, trying futilely to fix Tyler before he becomes a full-on monster. During this, he interacts with some of Tyler's other personalities, such as the perverted Ace, The Creator, the psychopathic Tron Cat or the insecure Samuel.
He was portrayed by Tyler Okonma, better known as Tyler, The Creator, who also played the title character in WOLF.
Trivia[]
- While Dr. TC simply being a thought-form is a somewhat lazy twist, the fact that the doctor isn't real is referenced and foreshadowed numerous times throughout the albums, with Dr. TC occasionally denouncing his job as a therapist and stating that he "didn't sign up for this" several times.
- Dr. TC is apparently physically a floating pair of glasses.
