The Black Dalek: (arch-nemesis)[]

Dr. who's primary arch-nemesis, The Black Dalek Leader.
The Black Dalek who was encountered by Dr. Who and his companions is the leader of the Daleks on the Dalek homeworld and Dr. Who's primary arch-nemesis and the main antagonist in the first film Dr Who and the Daleks. The Black Dalek himself along with the rest of his fellow Daleks living in the Dalek City, were descended from their "forefathers" who fought a devastating neutronic war with the Thals centuries prior. Their first meeting face to face was met with distrust by Dr. Who and his companions when they first met him and were taken prisoner by the Daleks. The Black Dalek almost fooled Dr. Who and his companions with a falsified telling of that the Thals were mutated monsters (When in reality the Thals were just a peaceful people, that is until Susan met the Thal leader Alydon). Dr. who's suspicions and predictions as to the Daleks true sinister intentions were later proven correct when The Black Dalek Leader began to show his true colors as a utterly cruel, heartless, ruthless, merciless, manipulative, and sadistic ruler and that he intends to wipe out the Thals and have his people become the sole rulers and masters of the Dalek homeworld. He even went back on his word when he refused to allow Dr. Who and his companions to leave the Dalek City. The Black Dalek also outright refused to even listen to Dr. Who's pleas of wanting both the warmongering Daleks and peaceful Thals to co-exist peacefully and promising to show his his spacecraft Tardis merely felled on deaf ears, and The Black Dalek still went ahead with his plan in wanting to commit mass genocide, not even showing any hint of either compassion, sympathy, or remorse whatsoever, even in his final moments before his death.
The Gold Dalek:[]
The Daleks:[]
The Daleks are a warmongering race of conqueror's and are Dr. Who's greatest foes ever encountered. The Dalek themselves always viewed Dr. Who as their primary enemy who they want killed for their many humiliating past and present defeats.

Trivia[]
- Dr. Who is a loose adaptation of the First Doctor.
- While it may seem strange from a contemporary perspective that the Doctor is depicted as a human, at the time the films were made, the Doctor's backstory had not been narrowed down.
- In various spin-off media, Dr. Who has been given various explanations as to how he relates to the mainstream Doctor, such as him being from a parallel universe.
- Steven Moffat intended to feature posters for the Dalek movies in the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, implying these were in-universe retellings of the Doctor's early encounters with the Daleks, perhaps inspired by Ian and Barbara after they returned to Earth. While the episode was not able to feature them due to rights issues, Moffat was able to restore the intent in the novelisation.
- The character Dr. Who himself has slowly gained a number of fans over the years.
