Zed Blanco or better known as Dr. Zed is a supporting character in borderlands 1 and 2. Zed provides medical care with his healing in the vending machines scattered across the map.

Zed was born in Firestone on Pandora and became a nurse doctor getting a doctor license that he at some point lost. He also set up many medical vendors across Pandora storing med kits. when the dahl corporation left the planet Firestone became less safe with the rise of bandit with the numbers of residents droping looking for greener pastures but Zed stayed being the only remaining resident. Zed also was the one who healed TK Baha and gave him his prosthetic leg.

Borderlands[]

During the beginning of the game the vault hunters are sent to Firestone but the town was in the middle of a bandit raid after all the bandits have been killed zed comes out of his house to thank them and introduces them the local players in the area and how to get started on there journey.

Prior to Borderlands 2[]

When Hyperion and handsome Jack laid siege to Pandora and it inhabitants Roland started to relocate everyone to sanctuary including Zed but Zed still wanted to remain in Firestone. Due to Firestone being where Roland and the original vault hunters started jack wanted to claim it instead of destroy it and send Mr bake to buy it from zed who refused the offer and sent Roland a recording of what happened just in case. Blake came back later with photos of the destroyed new haven to threaten Zed but he though they were though he still sent another recording to roland about and ask for him to respond as soon as possible, Zed finally moved to sanctuary once Hyperion started to attack Firestone. he also create the squakk.

Borderlands[]

Zed sends the vault hunters on a couples of side quests that involves them helping him with surgery, investigate a weapon wound, kill his evil doctor rival,kill bandits with a experimental gun and help him create a monster then help kill it.

Commander Lilith and the fight for sanctuary[]

Zed develops a crush on tannis and hopes to woo her by finding a cure for the colonel Hecters disease and sends the vault hunter to collect samples to help him but fails yo find a cure, Zed then thinks he should try to better himself as a doctor and get back his medical licensed. Tannis then ask who made the experiments impress with zed nurvesly said it was him. zed later ask the vault hunter for some alone time with tannis.
