- Although Dragona is referred to as Jodio's older brother in official content, given their feminine appearance, fans theorize that Dragona may be either non-binary or even transgender. Given that The JoJoLands in currently ongoing, until further information is revealed, gender-neutral pronouns will be used for Dragona's page.
- In a 2024 interview, Pascal Lafine, the editorial manager of the French publisher for The JoJolands, referred to Dragona as a trans woman. However, as this was by a localizer and not Araki himself, the statement should be taken as an opinion for the time.[1]
