Dranzer is the anti-heroic deuteragonist along with Kai Hiwatari who appears in the Beyblade franchise.
He is one of the Bit-Beasts and the partner of other main character Kai Hiwatari. He serves as an friendly rival to the main hero Dragoon and Tyson Granger.
Dranzer has a four counterparts named Black Dranzer, Cyber Dranzer, Dark Dranzer and Metal Dranzer who played a small role in the Hasbro franchise.

Dranzer is a type of bird who acts as Kai's partner. He likes to tease his friendly rival Dragoon by proving better than him. But he is soft with the powers of flames to target the bad opponents who antagonize Dragoon and his Bit-Beasts friends including their human partners. His appearence is a red phoenix with the powers of flames to attack the opponents.
Role[]
Dranzer first appears when he defeats Tyson's first Beyblade. But in the next episode, he discovers Dragoon, one of the Bit-Beasts who appears to confront him and the two become friendly rivals to keep an eye on their human friends. Dranzer manages to rescue his friendly rival Dragoon from being captured by his dark counterpart Black Dranzer and manages to convince his partner Kai to reform in which he agrees after the latter apologizes to his friends for betraying them.
After Dragoon manages to defeat a bad Beyblade, Dranzer along with Draciel and the bit-beast manage to return to their human partners to keep an eye on their allies.
In the season 2, Dranzer has an robot counterpart named Cyber Dranzer who serves as one of the antagonists. But Dranzer defeats his robot counterpart by avoiding being imprisoned in a tube. After being captured along with Draciel by Cerberus, Dranzer and Draciel are rescued by Dragoon who manages to return them to their partners by defeating Cerberus and force Zeo to renounces his villainous ways for good.
In the season 3, Dranzer trains with Dragoon with the Bit-Beasts to face a new challenge to protect their loved ones he loves. He was seen assisting Kai and Tyson to confront the opponents.
