Nura Nal, also known as Dream Girl is a fictional superheroine from DC Comics and a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
Dream Girl was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte, first appearing in Adventure Comics #317. (1964)
Biography[]
Pre-Zero Hour[]
Dream Girl is the daughter of the High Seer of Naltor and sister to Mysa Nal the White Witch. She had terrifying visions of the deaths of the Legion of Superheroes. As part of a plan to save them, she worked with an expert to change the powers of Lightning Lass. However, the "deaths" she foresaw were robotic duplicates of the heroes. Ashamed, she left the Legion.
She was reunited with Star Boy, whom she would begin a romantic relationship with.
Post-Zero Hour[]
Post-Rebirth[]
Nura Nal was recruited into the Legion of Super-Heroes by Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lass. She revealed to the founders that she was excited to meet them after having various visions of them in her dreams. Nura showcased her powers to the Legion, who were further impressed with her abilities when she astral projected them into a vision, a future filled with glorious chaos. Lightning Lad gave her the name "Dream Girl." She is one of the most powerful precognitive users among her people.
During the battle between the Legion of Super-Heroes and two of the Horraz, Dream Girl teamed up with the White Witch and Saturn Girl; together, the three women combined her powers and insured a Legion victory.

- Oneiromancy: Like the Naltorians, Dream Girl can predict the future in her dreams, which are 100 percent accurate. However, as a clairvoyant, Nura has to be carefulmenage she can misinterpret her dreams at times. For example, she thought she foresaw the Legion dying. However, they were actually robotic duplicates.
- Precognition: Dream Girl has the ability to see one year into the future. Her powers were enhanced, allowing her to see events within a year. - a range greater than that of any other Naltorian. The advanced acuity of this power was enhanced by her sister the White Witch.
- Astral Projection: Dream Girl was able to ask your project herself and the Legion members into one of her visions that revealed the team's future destiny.
Abilities[]
- Genius Level Intellect: Nura is well-versed Naltorian super-science which alters the fabric of reality. She was able to help Lightning Lass' usage of her powers. She is Considered one of the most intelligent members on the legion, but not as intelligent as her teammates.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): She is also expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat
- Leadership: Dream Girl was one of the leaders of the Legion of Superheroes, and was able to lead her friends through any crisis they faced, including Darkseid.
- Meditation: Mediation allows Nura to enter the Dreaming.

- Dream Girl makes a cameo appearance in the Superman: The Animated Series episode "New Kids in Town".
- Dream Girl appears in Legion of Super Heroes, voiced by Tara Platt.
- Nura is mentioned in the TV series, Supergirl, where her 21st century ancestor Nia Nal is introduced. She is also said to become good friends with Winn Schott and Brainiac-5. It is also mentioned that Nura found a way for her powers to be duplicated in the Legionnaire rings.
