~ Dribble.
Dribble & Spitz are major characters in the WarioWare videogames series.
They are an orange bulldog and a small, squinting yellow cat, and together, they run Diamond Taxi as cabbies. They drive a taxi that has been souped-up by Dr. Crygor. and is capable of traveling into space, among other things. They often carry passengers that turn out to be supernatural in some way. The two are easily distracted and therefore forget to collect fares from these passengers. In the original Japanese, they speak in Kansai dialect, which is stereotypically associated with fun-loving, boisterous characters. In addition, both of their names come from synonyms for saliva.
Dribble and Spitz are outgoing and enjoy their job as taxi drivers. Dribble is shown to be slightly short-tempered while Spitz is almost always calm and easy-going, although Spitz has his limits, as shown when he uses the Octoblazooka to shoot down all the UFOs after he and Dribble are struck by a laser in WarioWare Gold.
History[]
WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgame$![]
Their first appearance is in the game's opening cinematic, they are called upon by Wario to be hired by his company, WarioWare, Inc., and make games. They are seen walking around, when a person stops them (whose name and gender are the same as the player's) wanting to be taken to the sea. Once the passenger has been taken to his destination, it turns out to be a siren and dives into the sea. Dribble and Spitz are shocked until dawn, when they realize the customer hasn't paid. The two later go to the Gelateria. In the final story, Dribble and Spitz are joined by the other characters asking Wario for pay, being shocked when he leaves, and watching from a distance as Wario's rocket falls into the sea. Dribble also appears as a player 2 character in the unlockable Dong Dong minigame.
