Zero or better known for his hero alias, Drive Knight is a supporting character of the of the anime, manga and webcomic series, One Punch Man. He is a mysterious human cyborg and the S-Class Rank 9 of the Hero Association. Nothing much is known about him except the fact that he shares a similar past to Genos, having his hometown also being destroyed by “The Mad Cyborg”.
He is voiced by Yōji Ueda in Japanese and by Todd Haberkorn in English.
Appearance[]
Drive Knight is a cyborg with black long hairs and probably wears a mask. The mask has a large red glowing eye in the center and three line for his mouth. His entire body is made out of metals and is simple. His appearance changes depending on which form he uses whenever he uses his “Tactical Transformations”.
It is actually unknown whether he is a cyborg or just a robot controlled by a the actual hero (like Metal Knight).
Personality[]
Drive Knight is an extremely intelligent and calculated hero, who is focused on collecting data and information of not only monsters but also other heroes. He will never let a single monster that has seen him using his weapons live, probably not wanting them to find his weakness or learn about him. He never underestimate his opponents no matter what level of danger they are, even if they weaker than him.
Drive Knight appears to be calm and emotionless on the surface, and works on his own decisions despite working for the Hero Association. He has his own goals and does not really cares about others despite being a hero. A great example for this is when he drop Genos from a high places after succeeding his own goal of collecting a few of Orochi and Psykos’ fused flesh and doesn't care about happens to Genos.
He is extremely suspicious, does not trust and like the hero Metal Knight. According to Sekingar, the states of many heroes who were sent to the hospital by numerous monster attacks, Drive Knight tells him that they shouldn’t trust Metal Knight and thinks that he is a mole. Drive Knight proves this by giving a bunch of information that support Metal Knight can possibly be a traitor.
Abilities[]
As the hero who hold the rank 9 position in the S-Class heroes, he is extremely powerful as shown when he effortlessly handles and defeat on his own a dragon level monster, Nyan.
Immense Durability: With his very solid and durable robotic body, he can take very deadly attacks and explosions. He even has a gold form that gives him even more durability.
Tactical Transformations: He possesses a box that allows him to almost instantly modify or gives his body various weapons or forms. The number of transformation he will do during fights depending on powerful the enemy he’s fighting is.
- Pawn: His base form.
- Knight: It gives him the appearance of a centaur, which changes his lower body into that of a horse. This allows him to travel at a very high speed and strength on his legs, that allow to send Nyan flying into the air.
- Silver: This form gives him a sword that he can make it as long as he wants. A single slash is tough enough to slash through several Tiger-level monsters. He can also have one sword on both of his hands at the same time.
- Flying Chariot: Drive Knight can modify his body into a large flying jet with a pairs of wings in total and two rock in the back. He has numerous energy cannons on the sides that are used to attack.
- Gold: Possibly Drive Knight’s most strongest form shown in the series so far. In this form he is given a powerful level of gold armor to his entire body and the color of his hairs changed to white. He can rise the heat of his body to extreme levels, as he used this to burn Nyan while he was inside of his body.

- Drive Knight is one of the few heroes of the organization that has the permission to chose his own name as a hero.
- Even the Hero Association barely knowns anything about Drive Knight as his hero rating is almost empty, except for its popularity having a score of 7.
