CT-00-2010, nicknamed "Droidbait", was a Clone Trooper of Domino Squad, alongside Fives, Echo, Cutup and Hevy. He was killed by Commando Droids during the assault on the Rishi Moon Outpost.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voices all the other clone troopers in Star Wars animated media.
History[]
Background[]
Droidbait was made from the same clone template-- Jango Fett, as all of the other clones. From his creation on the planet Kamino, he was placed into the cadet unit Domino Squad. There, he was forced to work with Fives, Echo, Cutup, and Hevy. They were cursed with the inability to cooperate, and were scolded by the overseers of their final test. Their first two attempts were destined for failure as the team could not work together. Droidbait was left for dead in the second simulation, and the simulation was shut down. They were given an automatic failure.
Shaak Ti gave them permission to retry, and they successfully passed their test this time, even without ascension cables. They graduated as "Shinies", a nickname for "rookie" due to the shininess of their armor indicating lack of battle experience.
Death[]
Droidbait and his comrades were stationed on an outpost on the moon Rishi, due to a demand for an increase in firepower. One of the clones was noticed to be missing, and Droidbait and Nub were sent to investigate. Opening the blast doors, Commando Droids killed them both, as well as Sergeant O'Niner, and the rest of the clones evacuated. This allowed General Grievous to enter the station unopposed, and Captain Rex and Commander Cody were sent to Rishi to help the Shinies.
Trivia[]
- His nickname was given to him by Hevy, when he said "Can you stop being droid bait out there", in the episode "Clone Cadets".
