The Dryads are supporting characters in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series.

Appearance[]

They all resemble female humans with vines around them and tree like dress oufits though can switch outfits if they want and are see through since they spiritual lifeforms and projecting an avatar from their true bodies though as Dryas Doll Dryads they are more solid appearing looking almost more human like.

Personalities[]

The Dryads are ultimately friendly and protective to the inhabitants of the Forest of Jura for their safety being it’s guardians. They are friendly to outsiders as long they don't cause harm or trouble as they willingly attacked Gelmud and Laplace but left alone the Three Beastiskers delegation.

History[]

The Dryads would first appear during the event of the Orc Lord Incident where they approach Rimuru Tempest for help in dealing with the Orc Lord menacing the forest of Jura and would endanger the Dryads the protectors next. After some reluctance Rimuru would agree to help them out in defeating the Orc Lord and in the meantime they would chase away Geldmud and Laplace away as they hope Rimuru would win.

The Dryads would serve as judgement to Rimuru in forming the Jura Forest Alliance and accepting to help out the Orcs to ensure they aren’t gonna starve again.

The Dryads would witness and be judges for Rimuru Tempest and Gazel Dwargo duel before declaring Rimuru the winner.

They would ultimately try to deal with Charybdis but to to anvil due to it having abilities to counter them forcing to go to Rimuru Tempest for help.

They would aid in assisting the Dungeon Trials where some of them would watch the parties.

Trivia[]

The Dryads like to eat Potato chips.
In ISEKAI Memories Dark Horizons they can seem to still he corruptable as they were influenced by Rimuru Tempest’s Harvest Festival sharing his hate and gaining darker appearances as an result.
Despite being guardians of the Forest of Jura it is unknown why they didn't intervene during the Falmuth Invasion to stop the invasion or at least warn Rimuru City about the upcoming army.
