Duela Doe (also called Duela Dent) is abrasive, unpredictable and a little unhinged, but above all else, she is a survivor. Born in Arkham Asylum, Duela was led to believe that she was the daughter of the most dangerous man in Gotham, the Joker, and therefore, she was forged into a brutal fighter and skilled thief, hoping to live up to the reputation of her father. It isn't until her 18th birthday that she discovers the truth, which is that Harvey Dent is her biological father. Duela is the adoptive daughter of the Joker, a member of the Gotham Knights and the girlfriend of Turner Hayes.

Appearance[]
At the beginning of the series, Duela was 17 years old but in the episode Daddy Issues, Duela turns 18, her eyes are green and her hair is red but her hair was previously blonde as shown in the flashback of episode 11 where Duela tell Turner how her eighth birthday was, it is also shown in his police records that his hair was blonde, Duela wears torn clothes that he always wears accompanied by jackets, necklaces and sweaters.

Background[]
Duela was born in Arkham Asylum, fathered by Harvey Dent, and adopted by the Joker, who left Duela and her mother shortly after her birth to be with Harley Quinn, which seeded a long-standing resentment in Duela towards her father.
On her eighth birthday, she went to the Joker's cell to see him, and although he was locked behind a steel door, he knew that she was there and gave something to her: his favorite card. Despite leaving her mother for Harley, The Joker would continue to take care of Duela, gifting her a book with Gotham's murderers, and indoctrinating her with criminal philosophies including his disdain for high society., as well as training her in combat, robbery, and the use of grenades. But once he saw that Duela could fend for herself, he stopped paying as much attention to her
During her time at Arkham, she heard bedtime stories about the Court of Owls. At some point, she escaped the asylum, only to end up in and out of juvenile detention centers for a number of crimes, including petty theft, grand larceny, and assault.
Pilot[]
Duela is first seen in the pilot episode breaking into Wayne Tower with Harper and Cullen Row, after they realize that someone murdered Bruce Wayne/Batman the three of them run away at full speed to avoid being arrested believing that they were the ones who murdered Bruce Wayne. The next day the three are found and detained by the Gotham police, the three are interrogated by Harvey Dent and Ford, who ask them who paid them for murdering Bruce Wayne, Cullen and Harper do not know but they tell Harvey and Ford the truth but none of them believe them, and they are locked up along with Duela, shortly after Turner Hayes, Batman's adoptive son, is arrested for being the one who allegedly paid Cullen, Duela and Harper. Turner is taken to his cell, where he is locked up with Duela, Cullen and Harper, inside the cell, Cullen, Harper and especially Duela annoy Turner, Duela accuse him of framing him of his father's death telling her that her dad is the Joker and that it would be too easy to frame her for that reason, and why Turner's dad, Batman, murdered her father, the Joker, to which Turner replies that he never paid them to kill his father, then an argument begins between the 4 of them, which ends in a fight between Turner and Duela, the police intervene and they are taken to a prison transport where they were going to be transferred to Black Gate. Being alone in the transport, Duela tells Turner that he did a great job making the fight look real, Turner responds by asking if it was all fake, to which Cullen affirms and says that they have to escape before they die in prison, and Cullen tells Turner that none of them killed Bruce Wayne, that like Turner they were also framed, so they devise a plan to escape, Duela asks Turner if he is in or out of the plan telling him "Time to pick a side", after Harper and Cullen break free and fight against the guards, Harper gives the key to the handcuffs to Duela, who frees herself and gives Turner the key to free himself, then Duela tells Turner "what's it gonna be, Bat brat?", Turner breaks free and he drives the prison transport, which ends up overturning, which leaves Duela impresed, then the police surround them but Duela threatens to kill Ford, if they don't put down their weapons, to which Turner intervenes saying that they are not murderers but Ford manages to recover his weapon and is determined to kill the Gotham Knights but Carrie Kelley/Robin appears and saves the team. As everyone is about to leave, Duela says that she's not going anywhere with Turner, to which Turner replies that they have to stick together or they are going to kill them one by one, Duela tells her that he almost got them killed, Turner apologizes to her, apology which Duela accepts punching Turner in the face. On the way to their new lair, Turner and Carrie go to the graveyard where they look at Bruce Wayne's grave, a couple minutes later, Duela tells them that they must leave or they will be buried next to Batman. Cullen, Harper, Duela and Turner with no other choice decide to live in the school bell tower, Turner tells the team that they have to find Batman's killer and clear their names but Harper replies that a duo of thieves now on the run, a sidekick, the Joker's deranged daughter and the son of Batman, there are many things but not cops, Turner replies that his dad wasn't police either but that didn't stop him from taking down criminals, after Cullen shows them the engraving behind Ford's watch, Turner mentions that it was the same as the coin found on Bruce's body, Duela tells him that it is the symbol coin of the Court of Owls, who they refer to as a dangerous society that if you find out about them, it will be the last thing you go to see.
Scene of the crime[]
The gotham knights rob a clothing store but Turner mentions that they are not really robbing the store, they are borrowing the clothes and after clearing his name they will pay for the clothes, then Duela tells him that now he is a fugitive and it is not necessary to be boring anymore, Duela asks Turner what happened to the Turner who overturned and wrecked the prison truck, the Turner that Duela knows that he is tucked away hiding in underneath all that cashmere, Duela tells him that when that Turner wants to go out to have fun, let her know, then the police arrive because Turner accidentally activated the silent alarm, Duela takes them to the back door where they meet Robin, in the lair Turner explains to Robin that they have everything necessary to survive in the school belfry except for clothes, so Carrie lets the robbery pass. The next morning, Stephanie goes to the hideout but Duela threatens her with her knife, thinking that Stephanie was a stranger but Turner convinces her to drop her knife, then Stephanie tells Turner that the police confiscated everything in the Batcave, including the Batcomputer, after seeing on the news that Ford and his team had been decapitated, Turner questions why the court murdered them, to which Duela replies that it was because Ford failed to assassinate them, Turner theorizes that they did find Batman with a coin from the Court was because he knew about the Court of Owls and he got very close to the Court and that's why they murdered Batman, Turner and Carrie decide to go find Bruce's diaries to find out something of the Court, but Cullen, Harper and Duela say they think it is a bad and suicidal idea, in the end Turner convinces the trio to return to Wayne Tower. Duela and Turner looked at Gotham City from the bell tower, Duela mentions that the first rule of a crime is never to return to the scene of the crime, Turner asks her that since when does she follow the rules to which Duela replies that since the Wayne Tower is Gotham's most famous crime scene. The team organizes a plan to enter Wayne Tower, the plan is successful, Turner and Carrie manage to break into Wayne Tower, in Bruce's office, Turner manages to take the diaries but Talon finds Turner and Carrie, they notify Cullen, Harper and Duela, upon learning of Talon, Duela freaks out and abandon Cullen, Harper, Turner and Carrie saying that they all abandon her enough times to know that no one is going to save her. Cullen, Harper, Carrie and Turner manage to escape from Wayne Tower, on the way to the lair, Turner questions why Duela abandoned them, to which Carrie replies that she is the daughter of the Joker, she is surprised that it took her, Harper, Cullen and Carrie refuse to go save Duela but Turner manages to convince them to save her.As Cullen, Turner, Carrie and Harper go to where Duela is, she arrives with a seller with whom she was going to negotiate the sale of Ford's watch, but the seller turns out to be someone who worked for the Court, so she tries to kill Duela with a gun but before she can pull the trigger, Talon murders the salesman, so Duela runs, Talon traps her in the Wayne company car, which he sets on fire, upon reaching Duela's rescue, Turner and Carrie fight Talon, who hurts Turner's wrist with his sword, after defeating Talon, the team returns to their lair, Duela thanks Turner for going to save her, Duela asks Turner if it was worth going for the Batman diaries, to which Turner says it was worth it, Turner asks Duela if he has thought that she is also valuable, which compliments Duela, she mentions to Turner that he is very good with the sword, Turner mentions that when he was little where he lived he only wanted to play street hockey but when he was adopted by Batman, he insisted that Turner learn arts martial arts and swordsmanship to be the best but Turner wonders what else Batman could have trained him for.
Under pressure[]
After Carrie defeats the mutant gang leader, Turner and Cullen congratulate Carrie on her achievement. After Carrie tells Duela and Turner how she met Batman, Duela annoys Turner by asking if in her father's journals aren't there because Batman chose Carrie as his partner instead of Turner, to which Turner he replies that maybe it was because Batman had his reasons. The next day, Stephanie tells Turner that she is going to the founders gala with Brody, Turner doubts her friend's decision, but Duela interferes saying that Brody got Stephanie out of trouble Turner got Stephanie into so she has a ticket to go to the "Brodeo" but Stephanie asks Duela to stay off her side, after Turner wants to investigate Alan Wayne's files, which are in the police station, Cullen says to Turner that he let the thieves figure out how to steal Alan Wayne's files, then Duela and Harper doubt it. The next day, Carrie, Duela and Turner see the news that the mutant gang shot down a police aircraft due to their boss's arrest, Duela mockingly tells Carrie that the mutants take it out on everyone except her like that she doesn't know if Batman would be proud of Carrie but she is, while Turne tries to convince Carrie to let him go with her, Cullen plans to disguise himself as a policeman with a request for evidence transfer so he can enter the police station and take the files on Alan Wayne, but Harper refuses to let him go because she thinks it's a very dangerous and risky idea. Duela is siding with Cullen telling Harper that Cullen can handle it and she is so busy protecting Cullen that she doesn't realize it that he can protect himself, Harper finally agrees, Cullen thanks Duela but Duela tells him that she only helped him because she needs him to do something for her. After Carrie and Turner find containers of Ace Chemicals in the Mutants gang's warehouse and find blueprints for a bomb, Turner and Carrie quickly bring Harper and Duela some containers of the chemicals and blueprints and discover that it is a bomb but they don't know where they'll be using it until Duela indirectly mentions that their dad would wear it to a gala, then they realize the mutant gang will be wearing it to the founders' gala. After the news reports that the mutant gang has just taken over the founders' gala, the Gotham Knights find out about the mutants' action, Turner convinces Harper to accompany them to extinguish the bomb, Duela mentions that they can go through the tunnels without having to go through the main door but they need to open the doors from the inside, Turner asks Duela that if he opens the door from the inside, she will show them the way, Duela questions why she should risk her life to save some idiots who don't care about her, Turner replies that for the same reason they saved Talon, Duela tells her not to convince her out of guilt, Turner finally convinces her by telling her that she can hit a lot of mutants, which Duela accepts saying she should have told her before. Carrie, Harper, Duela and Turner reach the subway tunnels, Duela knocks down a mutant guarding the bomb with a single blow, which leaves Turner impressed, he tries to take the bomb but Harper tells him that if he moves it, it will explode like this Harper and Stephanie try to turn it off, then they realize that the mutants's bomb can go on but not go off, Turner questions that idea, mentioning that it can kill mutants too but Duela tells him that the mutants are ready because they have gas masks and that is their plan to escape, Stephanie and Harper try to deactivate it but they need the help of a policeman to buy time. Turner thinks of Harvey but Duela tells him that if he doesn't believe him they will arrest him, so Duela is worried and asks him if he is going to risk it, to which Turner says that if he doesn't many will die. Turner, Duela and Carrie take out as many mutants as they can, they witness Harvey defeat the two in command of the mutant gang. Upon returning to the lair, Duela reveals that he stole everything the mutants stole, Turner looks at Duela, and Duela tells him that she already knows what she is going to say, that the guests were also victims but before Turner can answer, he sees in a watch one of the Court of Owls coins that belonged to one of the guests, Turner shows the watch to Duela, so the three look at the watches of the guests, Turner, Duela and Harper realize that they were the Court of Owls there and they didn't realize it. Cullen returns to the lair and gives Duela the letter that the Joker gave her, Cullen questions why she asked him to bring her the Joker's letter since she thought she hated him, to which Duela replies that it's just so she doesn't forget how much she hates her dad.
Of Butchers and Betrayals[]
In the school library, Duela was riding a scooter while Turner, Harper and Cullen investigate Alan Wayne's files and discover that he had marks on his chest but it wasn't relevant, then Harper asks Turner if he's okay but Turner tells him says that he is getting tired of everything that is happening, to which Duela responds by saying that she is tired of him not stopping complaining, Duela finds a yearbook and realizes that Turner belonged to a club called the never have sex brigade, which makes Harper, Cullen and especially Duela laugh at Turner, then by accident, Cullen makes Talon's knife fall to the ground and leave the mark that Alan Wayne had on his chest, so Harper, Cullen, Duela and Turner realize that the Cut actually murdered Alan Wayne. The next day Turner wants to break into the house of his father's deceased lawyer since he was the last victim to be killed with Talon's knives, so he gathers Harper, Cullen, Stephanie and Duela, and Turner requests Harper's help to teach him how to pick locks, to which Duela replies "Ooh look at you thinking like a criminal, so cute". While Turner and Harper investigate the lawyer's house, Duela, Cullen and Stephanie investigate Talon's knives, Duela shows them a yearbook about serial killers that the Joker had shown him, in the yearbook Duela shows them a serial killer named Felix Harmon who had the same knives as Talon, but for his crimes as the serial killer know as the Gotica's butcher, he was executed in the town square, then Stephanie finds out that he has a daughter, so Duela asks if she knows how her dad's knives ended up in Talon's clutches. The next day, Turner gathers Stephanie, Cullen and Harper to tell them that he plans to go back to Wayne Manor and retrieve his father's will to prove everyone's innocence, Carrie arrives and informs the team that she is going to speak with Felix Harmon's daughter to find out how Felix's knives ended up in Talon's clutches, Duela appears in school uniform and a blonde wig mentioning that she will go with Carrie, Turner seeing Duela is surprised and possibly falls more in love with her, later Duela and Carrie manage to enter the asylum, they go to Eunice Harmon's room, she tells them everything she experienced, from seeing how her father did his work in the circus to how her father murdered his victims, then Eunice goes crazy and takes Duela from the wrist but she manages to get loose, Carrie and Duela leave but in the distance Eunice warns them about the Court of Owls and to stay away from the Court, later Duela and Carrie return to the lair and meet with Stephanie, Cullen and Harper, Stephanie mentions that it is not a coincidence that Eunice Harmon is associated with the Court of Owls, Duela mentions that according to her, her dad still sends her gifts, but Harper mentions that the Court surely sends her gifts to make her believe that her dad is still alive to which Cullen asks why they would do that, then Carrie sees in the visitor log that Cressida Clark is the one who sends Eunice the gifts, so Duela, Cullen, Harper, Stephanie and Carrie realize that Cressida is from the Court, and they remember that Turner is with her, Stephanie calls Turner, at first Turner doesn't believe them, but then Cressida returns to the room with a gun, forcing Turner to hang up the call, they all worry about Turner so Carrie goes to rescue him, Carrie manages to rescue Turner and return to the lair, Carrie goes with Duela who reveals that she stole the music box from Eunice because of the scare she had given him, Duela mentions to Carrie that he Eunice's dad was a rampant psychotic and he managed to take care of her and give her gifts while with Duela all her dad had given her was a Joker poker card, Carrie asks him for the music box to look for prints on it box.
More Money more Problems[]
Stephanie arrives at the Belfry mentioning that she had good news but no one pays attention to her since it was morning since they were asleep so she tries to break the news mentioning that she brought donuts, so they all wake up, Turner asks her if she found the response that Felix Harmon, who has been dead for over 100 years, is still alive, Duela asks if he is a vampire but Harper says vampires don't exist, Stephanie explains that the Court of Owls uses shell companies to hide their financial transactions, so one of those companies is paying for Eunice's stay, this leads the team to a warehouse Harper recognizes as a stronghold of the McKillens, the mob Gotham's most dangerous, Turner asks how he knows the place to the surprise of Cullen, Duela, and Turner, especially to Cullen's anger and Duela's mockery, Harper reveals that she was in a relationship with the boss's son, Dylan McKillen. Harper shows them the location of McKillen's warehouse on a map, Duela continues to pester Harper about her relationship with Dylan much to Carrie's disgust and Harper's anger, then Carrie mentions that the trucks from the yard come and go every day and that can give them a ride. The team manages to infiltrate a McKillen truck that takes them directly to the warehouse where the accounting was located, Harper leads Cullen, Carrie, Duela, and Turner to the parking lot of the mob hideout, where Harper explains that they need to be quiet and stealthy, which Turner disobeys first and knocks out a guard much to Duela's excitement and happiness, after Harper scolds Turner calling him crazy and that the guard might have set off the alarm, Turner tells her that now the guard is sleeping on the work and that he better open the door, Harper obeys him calling Turner cocky, while Turner and Duela shared smiles and glances, upon entering the warehouse, Carrie notes that there are no guards, while Turner, Cullen and Harper manage to get the criminal accounting from the McKillens, then Duela finds the money the McKillens laundered and they realize it's Court money, Turner asks what they're going to do with the money, but then Harper's ex-boyfriend Dylan shows up and threatens them with a gun, Harper meets with Dylan, who refuses to accept her apologies since she dumped him, Dylan calls his backup but Turner confronts Dylan, punches him and knocks him down, leaving Duela impressed and happy, then Dylan's backup arrives, but Harper closes the door, but Dylan's reinforcements begin pounding on the door so Duela takes Dylan's radio and threatens Dylan's reinforcements to burn Dylan and the money if they don't move away from the gate, Duela's plan works and Turner flatters her that she did a good job, the police arrive and surround the Gotham Knights but make it look like they burned the Court of Owls money, burning old newspapers as a distraction to escape, they get into a McKillen van and escape with the money, but the police are after them, so with no choice much to Duela's chagrin, Cullen, Turner, and Carrie throw the money out into the street, after the Gotham Knights throw money from the van, Gotham's poorest take the money and think that the Gotham Knights did it from the heart to help those in need in Gotham, the media officially gives them the name "Gotham Knights" as the new protectors of the city. Duela was sharpening her knife but after Turner goes to her, Duela tells Turner that she likes his new tendency to break the rules, telling her that she doesn't hate the new Bat Brat as much, Turner tells her that she needs to step up her compliments to what Duela mentions that it is not a compliment but an observation, Turner asks what she sees but Duela replies that it is rather that it is not what she does not see, she mentions that she already knows that Cressida betrayed him so she comforts Turner, Duela also tells him that when you have no one to trust you learn to trust yourself, Turner tells him that if it means not following the rules she can count on him, Duela tells him that the people who pull the strings in Gotham doesn't follow the rules and asks why he follows them to which Turner tells him that now they have to follow those threads to the Court of Owls, then Harper tells them that the McKillen accounting seems to be written in some kind of code and it is a complex cipher that is going to be very difficult to solve.
A Chill in Gotham[]
Stephanie tells Turner that Harvey told her Joe Chill wants to talk to Turner, Duela tells Turner he's lucky, which Turner questions and Duela tells him it's because Joe Chill is Gotham's patron saint of bad guys, Turner tells him that Joe Chill worked for the Court of Owls for those who want to kill them and asks if that changes his mind, to which Duela responds by saying that without Joe Chill, Batman would never have existed. Learning that Joe has a coin from the Owls' court, Turner decides to go see Joe Chill, leading Duela to say "Wow, our very own Bat-Brat, going face to face Jose Chill." Duela accompanies Turner to the subway tunnels in case there is a trap, Turner arrives where he was going to meet Harvey, Duela appears behind him threatening him with a knife in case it was a trap so Harvey says that if it were a trap, a police swat team would have arrested her in the moment she put the knife to his neck, so Duela realizes that it is not a trap and goes back to the Belfry. While Turner was visiting Joe Chill, Stephanie, Cullen and Harper were investigating how to decipher the McKillen accounting code but Duela wants to convince them to drink in honor of Joe Chill, in the end Duela convinces them and Cullen, Stephanie, Harper and Duela begin to drink, later Cullen, Stephanie and Harper continue to investigate the code, Cullen asks Stephanie if her dad didn't give her any clues but Stephanie says only one because her dad expects that Stephanie can resolve the clue by herself, since her dad had high expectations of her even before she became a celebrity to which Duela tells her that it is difficult to live up to a famous and to try the infamous, to which Stephanie tells her that she already imagines her birth certificate, the crazy daughter of the Joker, for which she tells her that she can choose whatever but Duela tells her that as long as she's not some wannabe codebreaker trying to win her dad's approval, Stephanie tells her it's better than trading with the name of a psychotic, then Cullen takes the whiskey from Stephanie. Harper and Stephanie discover that the clue that Stephanie's dad gave he referred to an encrypted book, so they go to the library to look for the book, Cullen, Duela, Harper and Stephanie look for the book without stopping until they manage to find it, when they find it everyone is happy, and Duela accidentally knocks over a stack of books, Turner returns to the Belfry where he meets Duela who asks for his Joe Chill autograph but Turner tells him that he don't think she wants to an autograph from someone who is innocent, Turner tells Duela, Stephanie, Harper and Cullen everything Joe Chill told him about the Court, after finding out the ledger, the Knights find the location of the opioid dealers and take them out. Returning to the Belfry, Duela drinks the last of the Whiskey in honor of Joe Chill, then she meets Turner with whom she shares glances until Cullen, Harper and Stephanie arrive, but then Duela leaves Harper, Stephanie, Cullen and Turner alone in the room.
Bad to Be Good[]
On the TV they show the video again where the Gotham Knights release the millions of dollars in the streets of Gotham of the money that the McKillens were laundering, which angers Duela saying that that was the worst day of her life, Turner tells Duela that at least they didn't leave empty-handed, to which Duela replies "Speak for yourself Bat-Brat", Turner tells him that at least they have the ledger, Turner wants to find out how Talon lived so long to what Duela tells him that she can find out how Talon is still alive, Turner asks how she will find out but Duela tells him that she can get the answers not ge them, which worries Turner. Later Duela steals a vehicle from a driving school and goes to an abandoned warehouse with Carrie, in the warehouse Duela reveals to Carrie that she kidnapped Eunice Harmon to obtain information about the Talon, Carrie believes and mentions that this is a crazy even for Duela but she doesn't pay much attention, Duela tries to talk to Eunice but she tries to attack her but Duela threatens to taser her again, Carrie questions that but Duela tells her that she put the taser in In low mode, Carrie questions whether to continue the interrogation but Duela convinces her by reminding her that Eunice is the only one who knows how to stop Talon, after untying Eunice, Duela and Carrie try to question her but she refuses to say anything so Duela tortures her by removing the oxygen from Eunice's oxygen tank but Carrie stops her, so she tries to interrogate Eunice by returning her music box, Carrie returns the music box to Eunice, she tells Carrie and Duela that when she was young, she came to attend the most elegant parties organized by the Court, she begins to tell them more details about the parties where they were organized in abandoned places but never used the same place, Carrie asks her if they remembered who was at the party but Eunice tells them that everyone always wore masks, she tells them that when her dad was sentenced to death as Gotham's butcher, the Court gave her father a substance that would keep him alive but she doesn't know what it is, but the last of that substance that the Court had was used on her father, and the Court has been looking for more of that substance since then, after Carrie goes to get water for Eunice, she takes advantage of Carrie's absence, to attack Duela, Eunice almost kills Duela choking her and stabbing her hand but Carrie comes back and saves Duela. Later Duela returns to the Belfry where she was talking with Turner and Cullen, she tells them that the Court gave Talon a substance that would keep him alive, but the last of that substance the Court had was used on Talon, and the Court has been looking for more of that substance ever since. Later Duela accompanies Turner, helping him by taking Eunice Harmon as a host in case the Court of Owls betrays them, upon returning to the lair, Turner and Duela are watching the news together, in the interview with Detective Green, who thanks the Gotham Knights for saving her family, Duela comments that it is worse when a police officer says it, Turner tells Duela "Hey, just because you do a good deed doesn't make you a good person", which makes Duela smile and say thanks to Turner, then Carrie goes with Duela who observe the music box, then they find pictures of the Court within the music box.

After Carrie, Harper, Turner, and Cullen return to the hideout, Turner and Carrie look at the McKillens's ledger and look all the criminals they have apprehended while Duela thinks that instead of trying to apprehend criminals they should focus on to clear their names, she doubts the decision to hand over the Alan Wayne painting to the Court but Carrie says they had no choice but she Duela tells her that there is always a choice and they made the wrong one, then Cullen explains that his clock that was from the Court of Owls stopped, they observe that Cullen's Court clocks had stopped at the same time in the same hour, minute and second so they decide to investigate it. The next day the Gotham Knights investigated the clocks, investigating the different hours, minutes and seconds in which the clocks stopped, with the clue that Joe Chill gave Turner, they discover that the time of the clocks marks a place, after investigating they discover that it is about the old Gotham power plant, Cullen, Stephanie and Harper wonder what will happen there, Turner and Duela mention that it must be a meeting of the Court of Owls where they meet to share information about their plan. After getting the address of where the Court meeting will be, Turner wants to infiltrate the party to investigate what the plan is but Cullen and Harper mention that it is a suicidal and risky idea, in the end Harper and Cullen agree to Turner's plan but Harper questions how he will enter the court party without being caught, Duela tells him that dressing as in the photos of Eunice he had from court parties, Cullen mentions that with the 3D printers that the academy has he can make the masks that the Court's members use but due to the time he has, he only has time to do two, so he asks who will infiltrate the party, so Turner and Duela agree to go together. After getting ready and dressed for the court party, Turner and Duela meet on the second floor of the Belfry, Turner seeing Duela, is speechless and Turner falls for Duela, an impression that Duela finds cute and funny, while they finished getting ready for the party, Duela tells Turner about his mom while Turner tells Duela about his biological mom as well, then Turner tells Duela to promise him something, that when they were at the party she won't do anything stupid, to which Duela replies "It's too late I already volunteered to go with you" which makes Turner smile. Duela and Turner manage to enter the Court of Owls party, in the driveway Turner sees that the couple in front were holding hands, so Turner holds hands with Duela. In the party room, Duela notices the presence of a little girl who was a member of the Court, Turner tells him to stop seeing the girl but Duela tells him that he can't, he feels as if the girl stole his soul, then the leader of the Court appears and reveals the plan of the Court which was to find Electrum with the map that Alan Wayne's painting hid. After the Court of Owls master plan is revealed, Turner and Duela see where they are taking the painting, Duela punches Turner in the stomach to create a distraction and pretending that Turner is her husband and he was is sick to get some air, the plan it works and Turner and Duela goes to where the painting was, upon finding the painting, Duela and Turner fight together to defeat the guards of the Court of Owls, when Turner and Duela were about to leave, the head of the court mentions that there is a traitor, the couple thinks it was them but when Talon enters with Cressida to kill her for betraying them, Turner wants to help her but is stopped by Duela, Duela puts her hand on turner's right shoulder and tries to convince him to let Cressida die by reminding him that Cressida was the one who helped kill his father, Turner puts his hands on Duela's shoulders and tells her that he can't leave but she can, to which Duela responds by saying "What happened to "don't do anything stupid"" to which Turner replies that to tell the truth he does not follow his advice either, in the end Turner manages to convince Duela that let him save Cressida and that she run away with the painting. As Turner interrogates Cressida in the woods, Duela returns to the truck and seeing that Turner still hasn't arrived, Duela was deeply worried about Turner, willing to look for him one way or another, the Court follows Turner, and they murder Cressida just before she told Turner the name of the Court leader, the Court catches Turner but the leader mentions not to kill him as he has plans for Turner, the team witnesses the leader's words through Turner's communicator, Duela finds out, gets angry and worries about Turner, she is willing to rescue Turner but she is stopped by Carrie, Cullen and Harper, Duela mentions that they must save Turner before it's too late, but Robin, Cullen and Harper refuse to go save him , because its too much dangerous, to which Duela angrily asks if they are really going to abandon Turner, they mention going tomorrow since it is a better option since they can devise a plan and go better prepared, in the end they manage to convince Duela to save Turner the next day, Duela, depressed and sad, agrees to rescue Turner the next day.

After the Court of Owls captured Turner the night before, Duela was furious with the team while at the same time deeply worried about Turner, blaming the team for having abandoned Turner the night before,r, Carrie tells Duela that she abandoned them in the Wayne Tower just for a watch and money, to which Duela replies that she abandoned them but Turner came back to rescue her, andmentioning that he would never abandon them as they abandoned him, then they observe the map of Alan Wayne's painting, Duela, Cullen, Harper, Stephanie and Carrie notice a strange X in which it leads them to a place where the electrum could be, which they can exchange for Turner, a plan that everyone especially Duela agrees.Later, Harper and Stephanie manage to steal one of the radios from the workers who work for the Court, who were looking for the Electrum, Cullen continues to investigate the map and traces the points that were on the map, Harper asks if it is a constellation but Duela denies it to what the others turn to see, she asks if they dared to doubt a Sagittarius, but they don't pay much attention to her, then they join the dots on the map that showed the Gotica skyline, Cullen stitches the line into a painting of the old Gotham skyline, where it is revealed that the Electrum was hidden in the subway tunnels, the team split up and search for the Electrum with Harper's frequency finder, later Harper and Stephanie manage to find the Electrum so they all return to the belfry, Stephanie and Harper find out the Court is hiding out at Wayne Manor where turner was, when Cullen and Carrie are about to come up with a plan, Duela takes the Electrum to exchange it for Turner, Carrie tries to stop her by telling her that everyone will be in danger if the Court gets the electrum, to which Duela replies "I don't care about everyone! I care about Turner". Duela finally agrees to do Carrie and Cullen's plan, which is to make a fake electrum and trade that one for Turner. Later, Cullen and Duela arrive at Wayne Manor where Duela knocks down and beats up every court guard that gets in their way, Turner refuses to join the Court, and Duela and Cullen burst in the room where Turner was, when they break into the room Cullen and Duela realize who is behind the court is Lincoln, Duela looks at Turner, seeing Turner, Duela tells Lincoln that Turner will go with them, Lincoln pulls out one of the Talon's blades, while Duela reveals that he brought grenades that were clipped to his jacket, which leaves Turner impressed and concerned about the risk that Duela was running, when Cullen manages to convince Lincoln to trade the Electrum (fake) for Turner, Lincoln slits Turner's throat, causing Duela unleash all her anger and concern, but then Carrie appears with the real Electrum and heals Turner with the true Electrum, Duela is the most satisfied knowing that Turner managed to recover but then Carrie gives the Electrum to Lincoln, having what they want the Court leaves the mansion, quickly, Carrie, Cullen and Duela help Turner up. Later, the Gotham Knights return to the belfry, where Turner observes that Duela is having trouble removing the grenades from her jacket, so Turner helps Duela untying the grenades, Duela tells Turner "Ever think you'd be helping a girl untangle her explosives or do I have the pleasure of being your first?", to which Turner says "My life has gotten a lot more surprising since I met you, I'll give you that", a compliment that makes Duela happy, after Turner takes the explosives from Duela, Turner thanks Duela for saving him, he also tells him that he surely had a secret motivation, to which Duela tells him that there was no motivation, only him, Turner and Duela share looks a few seconds until Turner gets dizzy and falls to the ground for the effects of the Electrum, causing Duela to scream desperately for help.

In the morning the whole team is trying to cure Turner and investigate the disease he had due to the effects of the Electrum, while Duela is seen to be the most concerned about Turner's health, she is looking for something to calm Turner's disease, then Harper tells everyone to get away from Turner, they all obey and she explains that now Turner is radioactive due to the effects of the Electrum, later Duela sees how Turner is, bothering him by telling him that he is worse more than usual, Duela brings Turner his favorite food telling him that if it is at least going to be his last meal, at least it will be one that he likes, Turner tells him that he never expected to eat in the bed of someone who sleeps with his knife, Duela tells Turner that he feels it was his fault for not going to rescue him after the evening of the Court of Owls party, Turner tells Duela that it is not her fault, while Duela notices a couple of welts on Turner's chest. As Duela and Turner spend time together, Harper and Cullen read an article on the internet where it said that the patients who had Electrum radiation died in the next 24 hours realizing that Turner only had 5 hours to live left, Cullen and Harper tell Duela that Turner will be dead in 5 hours, Duela is the one who gets the most angry, making Turner listen to what's going on, when Turner asks what's going on, Cullen and Harper don't want to tell him while Duela is the one who tells him that she will die in 5 hours, being the most sincere among the three, when Stephanie arrives she tells the others that Lincoln has the video that proves that he killed Cressida, a video that can clean their names, Duela interrupts saying that they first have to save Turner before clearing their names, showing herself to be the most concerned about Turner, Duela tells Turner not to waste his strength as he will need it, Duela asks Turner if he trusts her with a needle, a to which Turner smiles, she replies that at least she doesn't mind seeing blood, to which Duela smiles and prepares to do the blood transfusion, but a couple of minutes later the police arrive with anti-radiation suits and suspect that Lincoln sent police to locate Turner's radiation, so they hide the evidence that the Gotham Knights lived in the belfry, Cullen and Duela help Turner to go to the Gotham hospital while Harper guided them through the subway tunnels, while Stephaniehe was in charge of protecting the belfry, Carrie smuggles Turner into the hospital and his mother saves him with a blood transfusion while Cullen, Harper, and Duela waited impatiently in the subway tunnels. After curing Turner by giving him a blood transfusion, when Turner manages to recover his health, he goes to the library where he meets Duela, he explains to Duela that he wants no offense but he wants to be alone, to which Duela replies that she is not offended, Turner plays along and tries to offend her but Duela tells him that he already proved that he cannot be offended, Turner ask Duela if she know what he went through a lot today and asks her if she at least cares, to which Duela replies that she doesn't really care much, she also tells Turner that if he came out of his Batcave, which is himself, he would realize that the entire team is working non-stop to save Turner's life, that makes Turner react and he apologizes for everything, saying that he was thinking about what his life was like and how it is now and that he was lying to himself. Duela tells him that everyone is a lier, Turner tells him that not everyone, when he had a few hours to live, Duela was honest telling her the truth and that she always tells the truth, Duela asks her if she finally realized it, Turner tells her that she is not afraid to show who she really is even when she scares or makes others angry, she is always herself, listening to Turner, Duela without thinking twice kisses Turner, who corresponds to the kiss with a little more force, Turner and Duela kiss passionately, then Turner tries to apologize to Duela but she interrupts him saying that it does not offend her, Duela and Turner continue to kiss, then Duela takes off Turner's sweater, Turner and Duela then fall to the floor continuing to kiss until they both finally end up having sex multiple times in each of the library sections.

Duela and Turner, after a lengthy and deeply satisfying sexual encounter, Duela tells Turner about her 8th birthday, where she got the joker poker card that the Joker gave her, then Turner annoys Duela asking how Arkham let that a girl will wander alone through the Joker's cell, which makes Duela question why she tells Turner that, Turner responds by saying that it is her birthday, Duela asks how he knows, to which Turner answers by her mugshots, Turner tells Duela that she was born in Arkham and spent her birthdays alone or with the guards and for the first time in her life she is able to spend it with someone she actually like, which makes Duela smile and playfully punch Turner on the shoulder, then Turner and Duela look at each other, Turner asks Duela what her birthday wish is, to which Duela responds by kissing Turner two or more times. Upon arriving at the hideout, Cullen tells Turner that Duela is a look, to which Turner replies so?, to which Cullen replies that they returned with the same clothes as yesterday, to which Turner replies that they are not Cullen and Harper's business, while Harper goes to Duela who tells him "Guess who took a ride on the Bat-wang? Me", to which Harper is shocked when she finds out that Duela and Turner had sex last night, after Duela tells her "An yes the Bat-Brat is a very good kisser", Cullen asks Turner where they were, Turner says around, Harper asks Duela the same thing, to which Duela replies that they were in the library, Duela also tells Harper what it was like to have multiple times sex with Turner, she also tells him what they did, what traumatized and disgusted Harper. Turner goes to where Duela was, who asks for his help to put on a necklace that had a bullet in it in case she ran into the Joker, then Turner takes Duela's hand, and Turner tells him that Batman already took care of that job, Duela takes Turner's hand, Duela tells him that Batman killed three quarters of they parents, Duela puts her hands on Turner's shoulders and almost kisses him, convincing Turner to go out and celebrate his birthday at a bar in Gotham City.

Duela met Turner in prison when they were both framed for the death of Bruce Wayne/Batman, they started out as enemies, with Duela hitting him when they were locked up, after escaping from prison, they both agreed to team up to defeat the Court of Owls and clearing their names, which led to them living together with Cullen and Harper in Gotham High School's Belfry, spending almost all their time together, Duela reached a point where he fell in love with Turner, Duela flirted with Turner almost everything at throughout the series, as he humors her, after Turner is rescued by Duela from the Court, and her taking care of him after Turner becomes radioactive, they find themselves alone in the library where Duela reveals to Turner her feelings for him by kissing him, Turner kisses him back, admitting that he also had feelings for she, both continue kissing until Duela lightly pushes Turner to the floor, detaching him from every item of clothing he was wearing that day, Turner does the same with Duela, they both end up having sex multiple times in each section of the library that same night, after kissing for most of the night and after a lengthy and deeply satisfying sexual encounter, Duela becomes Turner's girlfriend, as Turner becomes Duela's boyfriend, both of whom are officially in a relationship.
