Duke is one of the main characters of G.I. Joe animated TV series, Sigma 6.
History[]
Duke began his career as a covert operative in global undercover missions. Through a series of dangerous assignments, he gained critical experience leading teams and fighting the enemy. When a team commander was wounded during a critical mission, he took control and led the successful capture of the Cobra force that was destroying worldwide security networks. After demonstrating his leadership, he was given command of other operations that required his tactical skill and combat expertise. Each time, he fought spies and traitors - and won. Because of all these skills and experiences, he was given command of the SIGMA 6 force.
Personality[]
Young as he may seem, Duke has already garnered more experience leading teams in dangerous missions. With his sharp tactical skills and brilliant charisma, he was very much a natural choice to lead the G.I. Joe Team in its never-ending mission to defeat Cobra. As a man of action, he maintains a rigid discipline keeping himself fit and in top fighting condition that he is virtually unbeatable in combat. If he had any faults, it's just that he has gotten too used to the military life, he now finds it hard and awkward mingling with his troops on leave
