Katherine "Kate" Cha, better known as Dupli-Kate, is a supporting character in the Image Comics series Invincible and its animated adaptation of the same name.
She's a superhero with the ability to make clones of herself and was part of the Teen Team before becoming a member of the Guardians of the Globe until she faked her death in order to retire.
She is voiced by Malese Jow.
Appearance[]
Dupli-Kate is a young Chinese-American woman of average height and has short black hair styled in a bob. Her superhero suit consists of a purple and grey mixed outfit with a number emblem on the chest area. This number is something every clone of Dupli-Kate has in order to display their age in comparison with each other.
Personality[]
In battle, Kate is someone who is well focused and determined, most likely because her original body is never in any immediate danger. Outside of battle, she could be considered a bit of a hypocrite and a cheater as she willingly got together with Rex knowing he was with Eve at the time, and later said Rex's flirting was inappropriate behavior for the work-place, even though one of her clones was going at it with The Immortal while she was saying this. Despite these flaws, she does seem to genuinely care for The Immortal as after she faked her death, she goes back to him and apologizes, explaining why she did what she did.

Background[]
Born as the seventh generation of the Cha family, Kate was apart of a curse that stated: "The seventh generation after Cha's seventh grandchild would be burdened with a family too large to care for and it would drive him mad". Sure enough, she and her brother Paul soon gained the ability to duplicate themselves which in turn drove their father mad, causing them to end up in foster care. Later in life, the two siblings managed to gain better control over their powers and decided to use their abilities to fight crime.
