I’m so sorry that was an old side of me.
~ Dutch restraining his ego

Dutch (real name unknown) is a character from the Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie is the personal assistant of the former Sector Sevenagent Seymour Simmons. His skills and physical prowess hint at an unusual and mysterious past.

He is portrayed by Alan Tudyk, who played Steve the pirate from Dodgeball 2004, voiced PFC Michael "Mickey" Crespo in the video game Halo 3: ODST, as well as Optimus Prime in the videogame Transformers: EarthSpark.

Biography[]

Transformers Dark of the Moon[]

After becoming rich by selling his book, former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons, now a busy man, hired Dutch, a hacker and a former agent, as his personal assistant.

Sam Witwicky, who tried to solve the mystery left to him by Jerry Wang, called Simmons for help. Along with Simmons, Dutch went to Sam's home to investigate the papers that Wang gave to Sam with Brains acting as the computer. Later, they tracked down two retired cosmonauts that had defected from the Soviet Union and went to the bar where the two Russians were. During the conversation, Simmons, Dutch, and Sam were threatened as the patrons in the bar pointed multiple guns at them. Dutch quickly snatched two guns and turned the tide, before he "cracked". After the quarrel, the Russian cosmonauts showed them photos of Moon taken by the Soviet Union, which gave evidence of Decepticon activity around the Ark.

Simmons, Dutch, Sam, and Bumblebee rushed to the NEST base in an attempt to warn the Autobots that Sentinel Prime was the target for the Decepticons. They spotted Sentinel on the highway — only to meet the Dreads. Dutch and Simmons were both injured during the battle, with Dutch panicking that he'll end up fired due to Simmons being thrown out of the car by one of the Dreads.

After the NEST soldiers and Sam infiltrated Chicago, Simmons and Dutch support them via communicator with Dutch acting as the expert hacker that he is.
