He is the eldest sibling and eldest male puppy of the Dalmatian family, son of Delilah, the older brother/half-brother of Delilah's other puppies, the stepson of Doug, the stepbrother of Dolly and her siblings and great-great-great grandson of Pongo and Perdita.
He is voiced by Josh Brener, who currently voices Donatello in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In the series, Dylan along with his stepsister Dolly, is tasked by his mother Delilah and stepfather Doug to look after their 97 younger siblings whilst they go out to work.
In the episode "Who The Dog Do You Think You Are", Dylan comes across a painting in his attic called The Prince of Dalmacia which appears to resemble him wearing a crown. This makes the other puppies (sans Dolly) think that Dylan has descended from royalty. Hearing this, the Dalmatians' neighbour Clarissa the Corgi tricks Dylan into marrying her in order to become royalty too. However at the end of the episode, Dylan and Dolly discover that the painting was not of a Dalmatian but a different breed of dog which had dust on it, which made it look like a Dalmatian. Horrified that she married a "commoner", Clarissa destroys her marriage certificates. Delilah then reveals to Dylan that the painting was purchased from Camden Market from less than £10.
In the episode "A Summer to Remember", Dylan goes on holiday with his family to Cornwall where he meets a collie named Summer, who becomes his love interest. The relationship is short-lived due to Dylan having to return to London.
Personality[]
Dylan is the most responsible of the Dalmatian siblings. He is shown to be smart, kind, strict, sweet and loves and protects his brothers and sisters including Dolly despite her fearless actions and chaotic attitude. He's also more of a worrier wart and will do anything to make sure his family's safe.
Many episodes he can be bossy to his siblings sister Dolly, and even Dawkins, and so on who has either retaliated against him or been okay with his bossy arrogant attitude.
On some episodes he could make some terrible characteristic decisions like calling Bessie The Cow "a stupid dumb cow" or calling any of the animals and even his crush Summer "locals" throughout episodes like "A Summer To Remember". As well as on an episode "London We Have a Problem" Part 1-2 where he delibertly withheld information about Hunter De Vil from Dolly and the other Dalmatians, or even with not trusting his brother Dante on "Dante's Inferno" to "Better The De Vil You Know".
Appearance[]
Dylan has one black ear and one white ear (like his mother Delilah) and wears a red collar with a silver star tag.
Relationships[]
Dolly[]
Dolly is Dylan's chaotic and fearless stepsister. Even though he usually deals with her or usually fights her like a sibling rivalry. Despite his rivalry with her, He usually cares for her more than anyone.
In the episode "Power to the Puppies", They angrily declare a vote on how he and her deserve to be top dog of the household, but their siblings ended up choosing Diesel. At the end of the episode, Diesel chooses him and Dolly to be both top dogs.
In the episode "Fear Window" Dylan lends her the telescope to spying on their neighbours, but then when Dolly sees that their arch-enemy has done something to Hugo, She calls Dylan for help.
One episode that focuses on their relationship is "Balancing Act", where Dylan gets angry at Dolly for getting him blamed by his mother Delilah because of the portrait problem. When Dolly gets stuck on the box due to her doing a stunt, Dylan tries many things to save her. At the end of the episode is where Dolly sadly apologies for many things that she has done with her stepbrother in the past including the portrait problem and Dylan finally agrees her apology and Dolly promises to be a good stepsister to him although they still have a rivalry.
In the episode "D-Factor", When Dolly doesn't know what Dylan's personality is which sends him to try something that is really good for him. When She sees that their neighbour and arch-enemy Clarissa the Corgi is about to drop pink paint on him, she warns him but then it was too late when she lands the roof and their neighbour drops the paint on him, making their friends to laugh at him along with her.
Delilah[]
Dylan is Delilah's oldest pup and they have a close bond, like mothers and sons do. Delilah loves Dylan and places a great amount of trust in him in caring for his younger siblings and Dylan does his best to be worthy of that trust.
Doug[]
Doug is Dylan's stepfather though they have a close-enough relationship that Dylan readily acknowledges Doug as his father, calling him 'Dad', and once teased him about telling a dad-joke.
Dawkins[]
While Dylan is shown to love his scientist brother, he tells him to be in charge of the pups which make him annoyed. Although they don't share the interests, but they still love each other as brothers.
Fergus[]
Fergus is a fox and a good friend of Dylan's. He was once excepted into Fergus' gang, as was seen in "Walkies on the Wild Side". He also goes on a camping trip with Dylan in "The Longest Night".
Hansel[]
While he does seem to have a decent relationship with the big Malamute, Dolly has more of an eye for him. Because of that, Hansel is more of Dolly's friend. He also goes on a camping trip with Dylan in "The Longest Night".
Summer[]
Summer is Dylan's love interest, they met at a lighthouse beach for a family vacation, as Dylan took interest in her but she was disgusted how he says how locals couldn't be great, but still found him funny, then later she helped Dylan while his family was in unknown dangers and helped save his parents and her sister Dolly from getting swept away at sea, and they said their goodbyes for now, Dylan couldn't lick her nose but she still likes him but not that they are exactly together.
Enemies[]
Clarissa[]
Although Clarissa is largely an enemy of the whole family, she is his sister Dolly's arch rival, but Dylan usally tried to be a polite neighbor to her. But later in series she really started to get on Dylan's nerves, and became big rivals with Clarissa too, and later in the series Dylan humiliated Clarissa when she tried to humiliate him
Hunter De Vil[]
Hunter is Dylan's arch-nemesis, he is a young kid who pretended to be his friend, being interested in space stuff like he does, but didn't know he kidnapped his baby sister Dorothy and believed she followed him, but eventually Hunter gained Dylan's trust to let him in the house, Dolly found out who he was but was too late when Hunter revealed himself, Dylan freaked as Hunter vacuumed his family, but Dylan and Dolly fought back and defeated Hunter as he gets lockedin a container, as Hunter swore revenge on them and their family.
Cruella de Vil[]
Cruella de Vil is the mortal enemy of the entire Dolly's family.

Trivia[]
Dylan along with his sisters Dolly, Destiny, Dallas, & Déjà Vu (known collectively as Triple D) are the only puppies from Delilah's side of the family to not speak with English accents and instead speak with American accents like Doug. It could be possible that their father/fathers were American whilst their other siblings' father/fathers were English.
Dylan appears to have a similar collar design to both Lucky and Thunderbolt.
Dylan is the great-great-great grandson of Pongo and Perdita. This would mean that Dylan's mother Delilah is the granddaughter of either Dipstick's children Domino, Oddball, Little Dipper (who are the only known grandchildren of Pongo and Perdita) or a child of one of Pongo and Perdita's other 14 puppies.
According to a presentation at Cartoons On The Bay 2019, Dylan is 12 years old in human years.
In the pilot episode, both of Dylan's ears were completely black, giving him the appearance of his great-great-great-grandfather Pongo. This was later changed to having his right ear black with white spots and his left ear white with black spots.
His voice kinda sounds like Donnie from ROTTMNT, this was because his voice actor did the voice of Donnie.
His Japanese voice actor is Yu Hayashi (林勇), who also plays Peter Pan and Steven Quiz in Steven Universe.
His Korean voice actor is Lee Kyungtae (이경태), who plays Randy Cunningham in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja.
