Biography[]
Cooper was a worker for Global Inc who refused to listen to his safety warnings. This made Cooper quit his job but the executive officers of the company believe would inform the press of these warnings. To keep him, they sent thugs to kill Earl. Batman arrived and saved Cooper from the thugs. Months later during blazing winter, Batman offered Earl to be his mechanic for the Batmobile. Seeing no other jobs opens, he accepted Batman's offer and received a handsome reward.
Years later, the Penguin tracked the Batmobile's parts to his workshop with the help of an employee who processes custom motor orders, with the tip of tracing the orders of the same exact list to construct and reinstate the Batmobile. Penguin drowned the man and later invaded Earl's workshop and forced him to make the new Batmobile to trap the Dark Knight by taking his daughter. Earl Cooper did what the Penguin asked but slipped a warning to Batman and Robin by hinting a term for a driver’s crash and that he made the air conditioner an ejector system which saved their lives. Cooper managed to knock out Falcone in a rage by squiring oil and stacking him with tires while fishing him with a right hook. He then later meet with the Dynamic Duo to undo the sabotage. Batman had given extra precautions for Earl into a new secure area to continue his work and make sure to have backers from his corporation to create decoy motor organizations without Cooper’s plans being leaked, letting Earl peacefully continue working alongside his daughter to help the vigilante duo.
Cooper is occasionally visited by the Dark Knight as he works alongside his daughter in an underground workshop under the guise of an abandoned warehouse, creating vehicles for the caped crusader as he takes weeks repairing and reconstructing the damages as shown in the beginning of the episode during a high speed chase against the Penguins and his goons. Earl is also a gifted individual who is cautious about his technology, even so he made special precautions for anyone who attempts to sabotage the vehicles, leaving only himself to be coerced into by Penguin.
