Frank Rock enlisted in the United States Army after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 1941 and was assigned to the European theater of war. Private Rock received a promotion to sergeant and led his unit code named Easy Company, one of the most top fighting units during World War II. They fought from North Africa to Italy to France to Germany. The members of Easy Company were Wild-Man, Bulldozer, and Ice Cream. They pulled off the most impossible missions and lived up to their motto: "Nothing's ever easy in Easy."
When the Justice League went back in time to stop Vandal Savage, John Stewart stayed behind enemy lines when his power ring ran out of energy and earned the respect of Easy Company with his talents. Stewart even helped them locate a hidden Nazi airfield where he parted ways with the fighting unit.
