Eberhard Anheuser is the secondary hero of the commercial Born the Hard Way, which first aired in February 2017.
Anheuser was portrayed by Tallahassee actor Bill Kelly.
A resident of St. Louis, Missouri Anheuser liked to hang out at the local bars. One day in the mid 19th century at a local bar he found himself standing next to a young man, and immediately guessed that the young man was not from around town.
Seeing something he liked about this new fellow patron, Anheuser decided to buy the young man a beer. The young man thanked him for the beer, then pulled out a notebook that he was carrying. Opening the book, he showed Anheuser the beer he planned on brewing, and said next time they would have that beer.
Aneheuser offered his hand to the young man, and introduced himself. The man returned the handshake, saying his name was Adolphus Busch.
