Echo is a major character in Jurassic World. She was one of the Velociraptors that were being trained by Owen Grady.

Background[]
Echo was created by InGen for the IBRIS Project where he was the third Velociraptor created for the facility. When she was born, Owen Grady imprinted on her, which allowed him to train her. In her youth, she battled Blue for control of the park's Velociraptor pack, but Blue was the victor. Echo gained a scar across her face from the encounter and her jaw became permanently offset. Due to her permanent sneer, some of the Jurassic World dinosaur handlers nicknamed her "Elvis".
Jurassic World[]
Echo and her packmates were used to stop the genetic Indominus rex's rampage. However, Echo and her packmates were able to communicate with the hybrid, which ordered them to attack the humans following them. She and Delta then arrive back at the compound and attack the mobile veterinarian vehicle (MVU-12) Claire Dearing and the Mitchell brothers were hiding in.
After Delta kills an InGen trooper, Echo lunges through the driver's side window and tries to kill Claire but ends up falling out. They then continue their pursuit of the vehicle on foot. Echo tried to attack the driver's side again but is driven into a tree by Claire.
Echo, along with Blue and Delta, later caught up with Owen, Claire, Gray, and Zach, and accepted Owen as their pack alpha. When the Indominus ordered them to attack again, they instead followed Owen's orders. After Blue was knocked out by the infuriated Indominus (and presumed killed), Echo and Delta attempted to kill the Indominus to avenge their fallen sister. Unfortunately, the two were overwhelmed by the hybrid, as Delta was thrown onto the Winston's Steakhouse Grill's burners and incinerated, while Echo was snatched by the hybrid's jaws and thrown offscreen.
Personality[]
With gecko DNA in her genes, Echo is the smallest raptor and a bit of a black sheep. She often keeps to herself, and when she attempted to pursue mastery of the raptor paddocks, she received a stern reprimand from Blue. With a shear across her face due to scarring, inflicted by Blue, Echo is rather grouchy and unpredictable. She also runs off and hides food such as a pig she caught, as she fears her big sisters will forcefully confiscate it from her.
