Eddie McDowd is the main protagonist of the live-action Nickelodeon series, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd.
He is portrayed by Jason Dohring as a human, Rowdy as a dog and voiced by Seth Greene in Season 1 and Jason Hervey in Seasons 2 and 3.
Biography[]
Eddie McDowd is a typical school bully, who is punished by a mysterious man called The Drifter who transformed him into Australian Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, and informed him that he must 100 good deeds in order to become human again. The only person who can hear him is the last kid he bullied: Justin Taylor whom Eddie pour paint on and have him hang high up on the school's flag poll, for revenge when Justin accidentally dropped milk on him. He was taken to the pound by a Dog Catcher, where he meets a pug name Salvatore and told him his story. Justin reluctantly took Eddie as his pet when Eddie beg him too. At that moment, Eddie was entered in as the family dog of the Taylors and must continue with his quest to do 100 good deeds to in order to be human again.
Trivia[]
- Due to the series cancellation, it was never unclear when Eddie was transformed back into a human, for the last episode of the series, he had sixty good deeds remaining.
- It is revealed that Eddie has a birth mark in the shape of a heart.
