"Whoa, sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."-Eddie meeting classmate and cheerleader, Chrissy Cunningham.
"You okay?"-Eddie noticing Chrissy looking frightened.

(Chrissy: "So, how does this work exactly?") "Eh...it's like any other old deal except cash only and no receipts."
"Okay. Just give me the word and I'll walk away."
(Chrissy: "No, it's not that I want you to go. It's just...do you ever feel like you're losing your mind?") "On a daily basis. Right now it feels like I'm losing my mind doing a drug deal with Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins High."
"You know, this isn't the first time we've hung out."
Eddie having jumped out of his seat to make Chrissy laugh.
"You don't remember me?"
"Middle school. Talent show. You were doing this cheer thing. This thing and I was with my band."
(Chrissy: "Corroded Coffin!") "You do remember!"
(Chrissy: "You look so...") "Different? My hair was buzzed."
"And I didn't have these sweet old tatties."-Eddie showing his tattoos.
(Chrissy: "You played guitar, right?") "Still do."
Eddie talking about his band, inviting Chrissy to come to one of his performances.
Eddie sitting back down after he and Chrissy realize they both were not who each of them thought they be.
"Flattery works."
When Eddie offers Chrissy a discount for his drugs, he hears her ask if he has a stronger drug.

"You all think I'm crazy, right?"
Eddie in disbelief when Dustin, Max, Steve, and Robin reassure him that they believe me.
Eddie apprehensive when Dustin says he is about to tell him something that will be difficult to process.
(Dustin: "There's another world. A world beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours.") "Like ghosts and sh-t?"
Eddie processing as he listens to Dustin, Max, Steve, and Robin explain to that Chrissy's death was linked to monsters from an alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
Eddie shaking his head no when Max and Robin ask him if he saw a monster kill Chrissy.
"No, man. There was nothing you could see or touch."
Eddie recalling how Chrissy was in a trance before she was killed.
(Dustin: "Or under a spell.") "A curse."-Eddie realizing Chrissy being in a trance and murdered is similar to how the D&D character, Vecna attacks.
Eddie bored as he sits in the boathouse.
Eddie hearing a car outside where he sees Jason and his teammates arrive.
Eddie trying to contact Dustin to inform him that Jason and his teammates have found his hiding place.
Eddie unable to get in touch with Dustin or anyone else.
Eddie nervously peeking through the window, knowing it won't be long until Jason and his teammates find him.
"You Dustin Henderson, are a… total butthead."-Eddie revealing himself when his friends arrive at Skull Rock.
Eddie and Dustin sharing a hug as they are reunited.
After regrouping with the others, Eddie explains how he witnessed Patrick McKinney getting killed by Vecna last night.
Eddie explaining after he escaped from Jason, he tried to contact the gang, but his walkie was busted from getting wet.
"So, I, uh, did the thing I do now apparently. I ran."
Eddie holding his watch to show his friends what time the attack occurred last night.
When his friends discuss ways to kill Vecna, Eddie proposes they just fire a bullet at him.
"Uh, Henderson's not cursed, is he?"
Eddie, Steve, Robin, and Nancy looking at Dustin when he suddenly shouts in excitement.
Eddie listening to Dustin reveal how his compass is being affected by an electromagnetic field, which portals to the Upside Down have.
Eddie hearing that finding the portal and Vecna is a possibility to clearing his name.

Later that night, Eddie tries to catch up with Dustin as he follows his compass's direction.

Eddie, Dustin, and Robin hearing Nancy theorize that Vecna could be leaving gates open whenever he attacks.

"I guess I couldn't accept the fact that Steve Harrington was actually a good dude."

Eddie explaining to Steve the only reason he came into the Upside Down was because of Nancy and Robin who risked their lives to save him.

"Now, I don't know what happened between you two, but if I were you, I would get her back. Because that is unambiguous sign of true love that these cynical eyes have ever seen."

Eddie thinking Nancy put her guns somewhere else until Nancy retorts she always knows where she keeps her guns.

Eddie and Robin wondering what's going on as Nancy is recognizing belongings in her room she gave away years ago.
