Eleanor Little is the mother of George Little and adoptive mother of Stuart Little. She is a main heroine of the Stuart Little Franchise.
She is portrayed by Geena Davis, who portrayed Veronica Quaife in The Fly, Barbara Maitland in Beetlejuice, and Morgan Adams in Cutthroat Island.

Stuart Little[]
Eleanor and her husband went off to the orphanage to adopt a boy as their adoptive son while George is at school. They meet a talking mouse named Stuart, whose been in the orphanage a long time with no one to adopt and care for him. The Little couple, being kind-hearted, feel sorry for him and decided to adopt him, much to his delight. While Stuart's new parents gave him a tour of his new home and introduced him to picture of the family, their pet cat, Snowbell, attacked Stuart and nearly ate him. Horrified, Eleanor and Frederick agrilly ordered him to spit Stuart out and threatened to throw him out as punishment if he tries to harm him.

Three years later, Elanor was blessed with a newborn daughter named Martha. Eleanor has become overprotective or Stuart, due to his small size. During a soccer game that Stuart and George are in, Eleanor, except for Frederick was horrified that Stuart was out in the field when called to go in for a fallen team player that she was willing to go in the field and snatch him out of there. But Frederick stops her, for it will embarrass the boys and it is forbidden. When George kicked the ball, accidentally knocking Stuart in the goal, winning the game, Eleanor and Frederick rush to Stuart's aid, and fortunately find him dangling on the goal, but unharmed. Frederick tries to reason with Eleanor that she is going a little too far with her overprotectiveness.
One day, when Stuart came home with a canary he rescued, named Margalo, Eleanor took a liking for her and the family allowed her to stay until her wing gets better.
