Electoons are a friendly female species of creatures in the Rayman series that reside in The Glade of Dreams. They are made from "the stuff of good dreams" and debuted in the first Rayman game.

Electoons first appear as residents of The Valley where they keep watch over the great Protoon, an energy that keeps balance in The Glade of Dreams. However, many of them are captured and imprisoned inside cages by Mr. Dark when he steals the Protoon for his on nefarious purposes. Rayman must save the Electoons by destroying their cages while he tracks Mr. Dark across the land.
Rayman Origins[]
Electoons are imprisoned in cages again when nightmares from the dark realms invade The Glade of Dreams, causing reality to come apart. In order to save their world, Rayman and his allies must free the Electoons so they can hold reality together and create bridges to other parts of The Glade of Dreams.
Rayman Mini[]
Electoons can be earned by collecting all the Lums in a level. They can then be used to unlock costumes.
