Elfa strike squad

Elfa Strike Squad is a superhero team of elves employed by Santa Claus and called into action whenever Christmas is threatened. They are the supporting characters of the Cartoon Network show, Codename: Kids Next Door. The members of the group parody members of the X-Men, while the name of the group is a pun on "Alpha Flight," another Marvel Comics superhero team associated with the X-Men.

In Operation: N.A.U.G.H.T.Y., they were tricked into fighting Sector V, who had been framed by the Delightful Children from Down the Lane. When the Delightful Children themselves were revealed to be the true culprits, Elfa Strike returned to the North Pole along with Sector V to stop the villains. There, they were confronted by a rival holiday-themed superhero group, the Faculty 4, who represent "Substitute Teacher's Day." After a heated battle, these teachers were subdued and the Elfa Strike Squad and KND succeeded in saving Christmas.

Members

  • Wintergreen: A tough guy elf with "peppermintium" claws and bones, a parody of Wolverine.
  • Nutcracker: A wooden-headed elf with teleportation powers and a nasty bite, a pun on Nightcrawler.
  • Snow Angel: A winged elf girl with power over snow, based on Storm and Snowbird (and possibly Archangel).
  • Coniferous: A rather tall elf with the power to cover his body in pine needles, a reference to Colossus.

Ultimate Ability

The Elfa Strike Squad's ultimate ability is the "12 Days Of Christmas Attack." When used, it starts to fall objects from the original song. The Twelve Days of Christmas Attack stacks up 12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 lords a leaping, 9 ladies dancing, 8 maids a milking, 7 swans a swimming (the swans are swimming in a small pool) 6 geese a laying, 5 golden rings (bags of onion rings), 4 calling birds, 3 French horns (instead of hens), 2 turtle doves, and 1 partridge in a pear tree, on top of the person it is used on. Wintergreen says that the attack can only be used once every Christmas.
