Elfaria Serfort, later known as Elfaria Albis Serfort as a Magia Vander, is a major character in the action fantasy anime and manga series Wistoria: Wand and Sword. She is a former student at Regarden Magical Academy, the childhood friend of Will Serfort, and famously known as the youngest Magia Vander ever while breaking other records as a prodigy in the fields of magic.
She is voiced by Akira Sekine in Japanese and by Kelsey Cruz in English.
Appearance[]
Elfaria is a beautiful mature-looking teenage girl with long, flowing striking blue white hair that flows around her and matches her striking blue eyes. She wears a white outfit adorned with gold and blue accents, featuring a form-fitting bodice and a flowing skirt with slits that reveal her legs. Her current ensemble as a Magia Vander includes a golden belt and gold arm bracers, adding to her elegant yet battle-ready appearance. Elfaria possesses an ornate weapon with blue and gold details. When she was a Regarden Magical Academy student, she wore the standard white student outfit.
Personality[]
Elfaria is one of the few individuals to respect Will despite the latter's lack of access to use magic in contrast from rest of the rest of most of the population. Her bond with him goes back as far as when Will and her were two years old, at the orphanage where they grew up, growing deep feelings and obsession over Will that remains constantly strong even in present days where she is still patiently waiting for Will to achieve the needs to become a Magia Vander. When Elfaria was a student alongside Will, she always remained by his side and defended him from the other students who mocked him as a magicless student. Her love extends so deep that she has no shame to openly express it to others, despite opposition, and even sleeps with dolls modelled after him. Elfaria's protective nature is evident as she declares her intent to keep Will safe, considering herself his bride.
Her deep love also comes along with jealousy, particularly towards others those like Iris or Zeo, who have taken interest in Will for their own reasons, which are also shamelessly exhibited. Occasionally, Elfaria shares stories about Will, which intrigue others, like Iris. She also gets insecure when Will shares his moments from the past with her, leading her to inquire if a member of the Ice Faction, knows of any magic that can manipulate memories to delete to Sarissa Alfeld.
Aside from his interest in Will and her prodigious talents in magic that she acquired at a young age, Elfaria is a very indolent girl who lacks the motivation to work, earning also the title of "The Embodiment of Laziness" by others of the Tower. Rather than doing what she is assigned to, she would rather procrastinate by spectating Will from her window or sleep, which baffles Sarissa.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Prodigiously Powerful Mage: Elfaria is a easily at best a prodigy, if not of one of the best mages in history, having become a Magia Vander earler in life than anyone has achieved and has created a total twelve spells, both unusually achievements on a whole another level for average magic users. In Will's battle against Julilus, she has been stated by him to have created the first of her twelve spells at the mere age of 12 and manage to generate ten clones of herselves as she played with Will. Her achievement also goes to when she overpowered another Magia Vander, Ellenor Ljos Alf, in a dual, coming out victorious. Her current magic potentials can be seen evenly against another Magia Vander, Zeo Torzeus Rainbolt. Even the author claimed that Elfie could solely counter 100 Will of potentials from the 1st Chapter of the series.

- She is possibly, secretely controlling Rosti Nauman to pose as Will's roommate and classmate from the Tower to aid him in his journey, therefore explaining why she "sleeps" so often.
- She has several plushies that gradually accumulates in numbers as chapters of the manga and episodes of the anime progresses, showing how big her obsession and love over Will goes.
- Aside from sharing the same last names "Serfort", she and Will and also shares the same birthday; 24th of Ellsmoon (December in real life).
