Elliot Karponzi is the main antagonist of The Daily Wire's original animated series Mr. Birchum.
He serves as the archenemy of Mr. Birchum the Teddy Roosevelt Junior High School's J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) officer. He is a heterosexual, cisgendered white male (for which he apologizes).
He is voiced by Tyler Fischer.
Appearance[]
He is a slightly pudgy, Caucasian male with a light brown beard and long hair kept in a ponytail. He wears a grey jacket, a light blue scarf, and a black shirt that says "UNITY" written in rainbow. He also wears blue pants and white sneakers.
Personality[]
He embodies a politically correct, liberal stereotype, often seen chastising others for their intolerance. He is somewhat effeminate in nature. Despite his apparently controlling or mildly preachy behavior, he is a pretty decent and friendly person who just wants everybody to be inclusive and protected, often being the victim of undeserved humiliation or criticism.
Trivia[]
- Elliot's character design greatly resembles the left-leaning YouTuber and streamer Vaush, and could possibly be a parody of him.
- Although Elliot introduces himself as a "heteronormative" individual, it should be "heterosexual" instead, as the former refers to someone who denotes heterosexuality as the normal or preferred sexual orientation, which is the polar opposite of Elliot.
- This was likely confusion on the part of the show's conservative creators, who did not fully understand what "heteronormative" actually meant.
- Despite the show intending to be for a conservative, often anti-LGBTQ audience, many watchers have semi-ironically found the dynamic between Mr. Birchum and Elliot to have romantic chemistry, inspiring fan-fictions about their relationship both to mock and engage with the series.
