Elly is the tritagonist and one of the main characters of the Spanish/British children's animated TV series Pocoyo. She is one of Pocoyo's best friends.
Biography[]
Elly is a pink elephant who wears nothing but a a blue backpack. She has a fondness for dancing. She is a favorite amongst the young children due to her enjoyable dancing.
In the Pilot episode in 2003, She had tusks between her trunk, fingernails, and toenails, which for unknown purposes, were both removed in the official series. Another feature supposedly removed from hers was a chunk of It also seems that the backpack had been on Elly ever since the beginning. She also moves by flailing her arms up in the air.
Personality[]
Elly is a beautiful, astonishing, brilliant pink elephant. She has a very motherly nature to her. She loves her friends so very much and would do anything for them. She carries around a small blue backpack at all times.
Elly has many amazing friends such as Pocoyo, Pato, Sleepy Bird, and Loula. She loves her doll and playing with her friends. She loves dancing around like a ballerina. Elly lives in her bathtub. She is a young, yet adventurous spirit.
She is very feminine and loves to have picnics, play with her dolls, and even dance. She loves to play sports or games as much as Pato and Pocoyo, and is surprisingly agile for her size. Elly is like a big sister to Pocoyo, being forgiving and always taking care of him. Sometimes she can be very bossy and generally does things her way.
Appearance[]
Elly is a big pink elephant with black dot-style eyes. While female, she usually wears nothing more then a blue backpack. Sometimes she will dress up in ballerina outfits or put on accessories. She also has dark pink spirals on her knees.

- Elly is the one who loses her head in the episode called "Horse!".
- Elly is not present in the pilot episode.
