Emilia Ludwell (in Japanese: エミリア・ルードウェル, Emiria Rūdoweru) is a supporting antagonist-turned-supporting protagonist in the 2018 Japanese fantasy light novel series The Misfit of Demon King Academy, as well as its manga and anime television series adaptations. She serves as a minor antagonist in the Demon King Academy Arc, the secondary antagonist of the Magic Sword Tournament Arc and a supporting character for the rest of the series.
Emilia was voiced by Ami Koshimizu in the Japanese version of the anime adaptation and by Dawn M. Bennett in the English version.
Appearance[]
In her current body as a half-demon, Emilia resembled a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes. When found during chapter 154, she was dressed in peasant-style clothing long after Anos reduced her from a pure blood demon resembling an older-looking human with purple hair and pink eyes wearing a dress of a high class family, a pendant, and a ponytail hanging from a bun.
Later on, she took to wearing a black coat, a white shirt, a blue pantyhose, and cyan slippers.
Heroic Roles[]
Despite having antagonized Anos and other half-demons out of racism before, she eventually came around doing to doing heroic deeds.
- She started off her time as a hero by blocking a blast of flame from hitting Izabella. This leads to Izabella taking her into the family home so she can recover from the wounds inflicted.
- She screamed for a group of students to evacuate in an attempt to save them.
- When the students failed to escape, she put in effort to save them.
- She providing a lecture to Bicin and Lao on how if they are not willing to protect someone they love, they should get out.
- Had the help of a demon king to repel a god's army.
- Set up a base to defend against Gyaradite.
