Emori is a recurring and supporting protagonist in the CW show, The 100.
She was portrayed by Luisa D'Oliveira.
Description[]
She is a Grounder who underwent a modification to her hand, which resulted in her being banished by her family along with her brother, Otan. She was initially alone, living only through theft and deception to survive but came to identify with Murphy whom she fell in love with and learned to live and befriend more people.
History[]
Emori first appears when Jaha, Murphy, and other men travel through the desert in search of the City of Light. She claims to know this City and guides them through the desert, to the point of robbing them, setting a trap for them with Otan. After holding Murphy hostage, she knocks him out and leaves with her booty.
In season three, she is aboard the boat with Murphy, Otan, Jaha and Gideon possessed by A.L.I.E.. Along the way, she gets very close to Murphy whom she calls by his first name "John". In Polis, she works as a merchant and sees that Murphy is forced to stay with Ontari, the leader of the place. Later, Emori is also chipped, becoming an AI disciple, shocking Murphy. Thanks to Clarke disabling A.L.I.E. in the City of Light, Emori is freed from her control.
In season four, Emori plans to run away and disagrees with Murphy's idea of going to Arkadia, lest she be rejected again because of her mutation. Not wanting to be alone, Murphy agrees to go with her on their side to live the life of anonymous criminals. In one episode, they travel to Becca Island again with Clarke, Abby, Roan, Miller, Raven, Luna, and Jackson to create Nightblood and survive Praimfaya radiations. Emori, is worried because she is a Frikdreina and she ultimately chosen for the experiment but the group refuses to test her. As the Praimfaya hits the planet, Emori is part of the Spacekru made up of Bellamy, Murphy, Echo, Raven, Monty, and Harper who go to space to live on the Ring.
After spending six years in space, she drifted away from Murphy and couldn't focus and care about the engineering and mechanics that Raven was teaching her. When Spacekru returns to Earth, they realize that the Eligius Prisoners want to fight Wonkru to get Shallow Valley. However, the pilot, Miles Shaw, betrays the Prisoners to conspire against them with the group. When Murphy gets an electric collar put on by McCreary, he has to be left alone so as not to delay his friends and Emori stays with him. Eventually, she survives and boards the Eligius IV to be cryogenized after the Damocles event.
In season six, Emori is part of the first group to visit Planet Alpha discovered by Monty to save the rest of humanity. She is also the first to experience the effects of the Red Sun toxin, followed by her friends who are slowly losing their minds. She tries to reason with Murphy who is in search of immortality after his accident against Bellamy. Later, Emori and Murphy pose as Daniel and Kaylee Prime so they can overthrow the Primes in stealth.
They still play the role of these Prime until Sheidheda's rise to power and they are finally unmasked. She later helps take care of the wounded after the chaos caused by the Dark Commander. Upon returning to Earth, Emori sadly learns of Bellamy's death and return with her friends to the Second Dawn bunker in which Octavia ruled as Blodreina. Inside, she is seriously injured by an explosion caused by Sheidheda who came to find Madi for Cadogan. She is then taken to the operating room in Sanctum by Murphy, Jackson and Raven for treatment but her injuries are too serious and she ends up dying. Fortunately when she and her friends decide to stay human, Emori's spirit is restored to her body and now lives a peaceful life with others.
