Eric Tomizawa is one of the four deuteragonists of Sega's 2024 turn-based RPG video game Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
He is a American-born Japanese taxi driver and an errand boy in Hawaii. He was once framed by the Barracudas and was wrongfully sentenced to prison. After getting released, he was recruited by Yutaka Yamai to work in the Yamai Syndicate. Upon meeting Ichiban Kasuga, he was antagonistic towards him initially; however, their friendship slowly developed, and he started to do the right thing.
He was modeled after and voiced by Satoru Iguchi, in the English dub, he was voiced by Matthew Yang King.
Appearance[]
Tomizawa usually wears a purplish blue Hawaiian floral shirt, with a gray shorts and simple sandals. He also wears a sport watch which strongly resembles a real-life model Casio F105W. In cold weather, he wears a simple leather jacket with blue pants, enough to keep himself warm.
Personality[]
At first, he seemed like an ordinary thug who tried to trick Ichiban to steal his money; he also seemed to be easy to be manipulated by others, especially Yamai and Dwight. However, after getting along with Ichiban and the party, he turned out to be a more kindhearted and selfless man who tried to move on from his tragic past. He joined the party as a trusted ally of the team.
In the team, he was a crucial voice of reason and information broker of the party, as he was experienced in the locations of Hawaii. He was also ready to help his peers when they were in danger and risked himself to ensure they were safe. One of the notable examples being when he blackmailed Dwight to erase all of Chitose's fake criminal records.
