Eris is one of the main protagonists of the Japanese light novel series Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire.
She was voiced by Haruka Shiraishi, who voiced Maya Ikusaba in My One-Hit Kill Sister.
Overview[]
Eris is a holy knight who is known to be a Hyrule Menace. She is the best friend of her fellow Hyrule Menace, Ripple. She used to be a partner of Leon Olfa (who revealed to be a spy of the Steelblood Front). She is also good friends with Rafael. She later meet Inglis Eucus (Rafael's cousin) and Rafinha Bilford (Rafael's sister) but avoided them. Witnessing of Rahal's actions, Eris intend to take down Rahal (the man who become a Highlander who seeks revenge on Inglis Eucus after he was easily defeated by Inglis when they were kids).
When Inglis is heading to Rahal's mansion, Eris killed Rahal's monstrous guard and tells Inglis to leave when she prefers to take down Rahal by herself. However, Inglis refused which caused both Inglis and Eris to fight until their fight was interfered by Leon who eventually betrayed Eris and her fellow knights. She and Inglis teamed up against the traitor, Leon until the magical beast (who revealed to be Rahal) appeared where Leon escaped.
Eris and Inglis has no choice but leave Leon for now and focus to fight and kill the monstrous Rahal. Both Eris and Inglis overpowering the monstrous Rahal with brute force by kicking Rahal. Inglis used her magic to kill Rahal and bringing an end to this terror.
After Rahal's death, Eris glad to see Inglis and Rafinha are well as well wish them luck at the Royal Knight Academy. Eris sent off to find and capture his former partner, Leon as well she also made promise to both Inglis and Rafinha that they will see each other again.
Appearance[]
Despite of her advanced age, Eris is a young beautiful woman who has a long blonde hair and blue ribbons around her hair. She wore a female knight's armor and blue cape. She wore a brown long boots.
Personality[]
As a knight, Eris has a strong sense of justice. She is sometime as a jerk when she slapped Leon at his face. She is also preferred to doing her job solely when she only willing to execute her missions by herself and doesn't want anyone to get involved when she wants Inglis to leave and let Eris to deal with Rahal. After Rahal became a monster, she wants to know if Rahal would revert back into human, only for her question to be answered that there isn't a way which forced Eris to kill Rahal.
But she is shown to be honorable and good natured when she helped Inglis to kill Rahal.
Eris takes betrayal very seriously when she attempted to arrest Leon (her former partner) until he got away. She will never stop until Leon is arrested and place behind bars.
Eris is also strong willed when she shown her loyalty towards the holy knights as well as she refused to join the Steelblood Front due to their scheme would bring casualties the innocents.
Abilities and Powers[]
- Immense Strength: As a Hyrule Menace, Eris is arguably one of the most powerful and formidable knights (along with Sistia Rouge (a member of the Steelblood Front) and Ripple (a Holy Knight and Eris' closest friend)). She fought equally with Inglis Eucus (the main protagonist and the reincarnation of the Hero-King). She and Inglis easily overpowering the monstrous Rahal with brute force, by kicking him at the same time.
- Immense Speed: Eris has immense speed when she and Inglis ran beneath the monstrous Rahal where they've kicked him.
- Swordsmanship: As a knight, Eris is very powerful of wielding twin swords.
- Longevity: Due to her being a Hyrule Menace, Eris has lived for many years and decade. She retained her youth despite her being an old lady. Though she is biologically immortal, Eris still feels pain as an ordinary human.
