Eugene Ottinger is a major character in the 2022 Netflix TV Show Wednesday. He is a student at Nevermore who becomes close friends with Wednesday Addams. He also has psychic powers allowing him to control bees.
He is portrayed by Moosa Mostafa.
Personality[]
Eugene is a shy and awkward boy. He is also passionate about bees and joined the bee-keeping club of which he is the only member until the arrival of Wednesday. At first lonely, he is very happy to have Wednesday as a friend and follows her in her investigation of the Hyde murders. Eugene is also selfless because while recovering in the hospital, he returns to school to help fight Crackstone and Laurel Gates who want to kill the Outcasts.
History[]
Eugene first appears when Wednesday joins the bee-keeping club and he introduces himself to her. In the following episode, all of the Nevermore Academy students are invited to Jericho to volunteer, and Eugene works at the Pilgrim World. While eating caramel, he is bullied by Lucas Walker and his pligrim friends and accidentally vomits on one of them. He is helped by Wednesday who corners one of the pilgrims in the stocks before cleaning Eugene. While doing this, Eugene reveals to him that he doesn't actually have any friends and he helps Wednesday get into Crackstone's museum.
