You can't change the river's flow by casting a stone, but live in harmony with nature, and you'll change together. The people of this world know that well. You know that the breath of life becomes wind and will always respond. Magina, may you rise. And may the Force be with you.

History[]

Background[]

F is a Force-Sensitive human female from an unknown planet who was born during the final years of the Galactic Republic. As a child, due to her strong connection to the Force, she was found and inducted into the Jedi Order where she became apprenticed to an unknown human master with whom she developed a close bond. During the Clone Wars, F fought alongside her master in the Grand Army of the Republic against the Sepratists’ Droid Army.

Near the war’s end, however, Order 66 was initiated by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine (in actuality the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious), causing the Clone Troopers to turn on their Jedi generals for supposedly committing treason against the Republic. During the Clones' betrayal, F's master was killed by his former troops while F managed to escape, but received a permanent scar on the lower-right side of her face. This event would leave F emotionally traumatized for many years going into her adult life.

Shortly after Order 66 was initiated, Palpatine assumed complete control over the Republic and reformed it into the first Galactic Empire with himself as its supreme emperor. As a result, with the Jedi Order destroyed and its surviving members forced into hiding, F was forced to live off the grid in order to avoid detection by the new empire.

A few years into the Empire's rule, F received a coded message from Valco, an old ally of the Jedi and a friend of her deceased master, asking her to meet him on the forested world of Keelia. Though reluctant, F knew Valco could be trusted, and thus agreed to meet him on the planet.

Star Wars: Visions[]

Sometime after arriving on Keelia, F, who had adorned a black-hooded cloak and face mask to conceal her identity, met up with Valco while he was exploring the planet. Though F related to him that she must be cautious wherever she goes, Vaan assured her, that the Empire's influence hadn't reached Keelia yet, thus she was safe from any Inquisitors hunting her. Despite this, Valco told F that he had brought her to the planet in order to show her something, before chokingly stating that the mask she was wearing to hide her face didn't suit her.

Then, both F and Valco took notice to two strangers passing along on a nearby rode. Together, Valco and F follow them, where they watch them ascend to a nearby cliff. Watching the two strangers, F was stunned to learn that the planet holds a deep connection to the Force (known as Magina by the locals), so much so that it's inhabitants can actually see the memories of the planet itself. Soon after this, Valco explains to F that the natives of Keelia, known as the Meevai tribe, hold a deep respect of nature. It is this reason that both he and F's master held such an interest and deep roots on Keelia.

Sometime following this, Valco and F continue to explore the cliffs of the planet. Looking upon the landscape at sunset, F notices that Keelia has been terribly exploited over the years. Valco confirms explaining that during the Clone Wars, the Separatists occupied Keelia and stripped it of most of its resources for their war machine. Soon after, by nightfall, F and Valco arrive at the Meevai village where the two strangers from before are having their wedding celebration.

Though F and Valco are welcomed to attend, F takes notice how instead of celebrating everyone seems sad and angry. Hearing Valco talking with another villager, F learns that the village has been under threat by a group of raiders who have stolen the last of their remaining resources. Though the villagers wish to fight back, the raiders have them far too outnumbered, as they have reprogrammed a large number of Battle Droids that Separatists left behind to act as their enforcers. To make matter's worse, the pirates have agreed to spare the village but only if the village chief agrees to be their hostage. His granddaughter, however, the wedding's bride, has agreed to be taken in his stead.

Though F realizes that Valco brought her here in order to get her to help the villagers, F is still conflicted on whether she should, due to still suffering the trauma of her master's death and fearing her identity being exposed. After the wedding celebration, F spends the night practicing her connection with the Force. During her practice, Haru, the village bride, finds her and realized that she has a strong connection to the Force. The two converse, with F warning Haru about being the pirates' hostage. Haru, however, is willing to make such a sacrifice if it means protecting her village and reveals that she will not be alone as her husband Asu will be with her throughout the ordeal.

Inspired by Haru's bravery and remembering the lessons of her master, F decides to help the villagers regardless of the risks it poses to her identity being revealed. It is at this moment that F comes to realize that a true Jedi is not one who lives in fear and looks out only for oneself, but one who puts the needs of others ahead of oneself regardless of what ever comes. At dawn, F cuts off her braid and removes her mask, thus bestowing upon herself the title of Jedi Knight.

Soon after, at the village, the raiders, led by the Umbaran crime lord Izuma, arrive to take Haru and Asu into custody. Izuma, however, reveals that he secretly sent in some of his battle droids to search the village where they found a group of villagers, led by Haru's younger sister Saku, planning to ambush the raiders. Because of this, Izuma attempts to shoot a captive Saku, despite her sister's pleas for mercy. To everyone's shock, however, F arrives and uses the Force to halt the laser from Izuma's blast in midair before redirecting it back at him and destroying his weapon.

Removing her cloak, and with it all of her fears, F stands firm against the raiders to defend the village. Izuma then furiously orders his men and droids to attack F, but Valco, armed with a sniper blaster, begins shooting the droids from a nearby cliff before destroying the raiders' ship with a rocket. With the ship and its central computer destroyed, the droids shut down, causing all of Izuma's men to flee in fear. Izuma, however, refuses to accept to defeat and grabs Haru at gunpoint. Furious, the crime lord faces F demands to know if she is some sort of monster. F calmly states that she is a Jedi and brandishes her yellow katana-like lightsaber. In the midst of a standoff, Izuma prepares to execute Haru, but F force-dashes over to him and not only slices off his gun-wielding hand but also slicing him across the chest, killing him and saving Haru's life.

Sometime later, F leaves Keelia with the villagers happily bidding her goodbye in gratitude for saving their home with Valco staying on the planet to help them rebuild their world. As she leaves in her ship, F smiles down at the world where her hope was restored. Free of the trauma and now being able to let go of the past, F decides to continue her journey and mission to ensure the peace and prosperity in the galaxy, confident that she now have better chance against the Empire should she joins the galaxy in upcoming rebellion.

Appearance[]

F was a young human with black hair, light skin, dark blue eyes, and a scar on her face.

Personality[]

Due F is a quiet, solitary, and somewhat brooding individual who prefers to keep to herself and keep her interactions with others to a minimum. The death of her master and the betrayal of her Clone comrades during Order 66 along with the fall of both the Jedi and the Republic left F emotionally traumatized and with a low amount of self-esteem. Now without a master to teach her, F believes herself to be incapable of becoming a true Jedi and lacks confidence in her own skills as a warrior, despite showing great skill in wielding the Force.

Her tragic past along with the constant risk of being found and killed by the Empire's Inquisitors has made her go to great efforts to stay hidden and hide her identity, causing her to constantly hide her face behind her mask to avoid any chance of her identity being discovered. This has also caused her to be extremely cautious, to the extent of near-paranoia, about using the Force, making sure never to use it in front of others out of fear she will be recognized as a Jedi and reported to the Empire. It is also implied she occasionally suffers nightmares of her master's death from time to time.

Despite her solitary nature, F is never rude or dismissive towards others. Though usually quiet and usually speaking little, she is always polite towards those whom she interacts with. As cautious as she is towards others, she is by no means incapable of trust and forming friendships with others. This could be seen in her relationship with her companion Valco. Due to him being an old ally of the Jedi and a friend of her late master, she knew he could be trusted and didn't mind using her abilities in front of him. F also retains a strong sense of justice, adherence to the Jedi code, and a powerful devotion to the Force. When the villagers on Keelia were threatened by Izuma and his marauders, she desired to help them fight off the invaders but hesitated due to her low opinion of her abilities. However, upon remembering her master's teachings, F is able to overcome her fears and self-doubt and put her tragic past behind her.

Upon realizing what it means to be a true Jedi, F realized that she earned the title of Jedi Knight and assumed the role. Upon doing so, she immediately removed her mask and later proclaimed herself a Jedi before others, no longer being fearful of her identity being exposed to others. After defeating Izuma and the marauders, F was able to regain her sense of hope and self-esteem.

Due her reverence for the Force, F seems to hold nature in high regard, which contributed to her respect of the tribe on Keelia.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • The Force: F is shown to possess a deep connection to the Force, utilizing a number of different and very powerful techniques despite having not received any Jedi training for several years.
    • Telekinesis: F utilities this ability for both offensive and defensive purpose.
      • Force Push: F utilizes Force Push to send her opponents flying through the air, causing them serious injury or temporarily incapacitating them/knocked them unconscious?
      • Force Pull: F utilizes Force Pull to pull objects towards her.
      • Force Stasis: One of F’s most impressive skills is her ability to use Force Stasis. With her telekinesis, she is able to hold objects or persons in place even in mid air. Her efficiency with this technique was shown when she effortlessly halted Izuma’s blaster bolt in the air immediately after it was fired before redirecting it back at him.
      • Force Jump: F utilizes Force Jump to jump or leap at great distances.
      • Force Dash: F utilizes Force Dash to move at amazing speeds. Her skill with this technique was shown during her standoff with Izuma, when, in just a split second, she managed to run a several feet towards his position at an astonishing speed and cut him down.
      • Force Sense: F utilizes Force Sense, to sense another sentient being's emotions, the future, ripples in the Force caused by momentous or traumatic events, impending danger, and the presence of the Dark Side.
      • Force Vision: F utilizes Force Vision, to have visions of the past, the present, and the future; however, like all Force-users, her visions are not always clear. In addition, sometimes she will have visions even when she is not utilizing this power at will.

Abilities[]

  • Lightsaber Skills: F is very skilled in lightsaber combat and is a talented duelist.
  • Pilot: While F’s skills as a pilot are largely unknown, she is capable of operating space craft.

Trivia[]

  • While F's lightsaber looks similar to the Darksaber albeit with yellow plasma blade, it also borrows elements from real-life katana aesthetic-wise, something which was intentional by developers of Star Wars: Visions who sought to implement Japanese culture into the shorts' plot and lore from start. Other characters in anthology shorts whose lightsabers received similar treatment being the titular main antagonist of The Elder and Lop.
  • Many of the Force powers F demonstrates, such as Force Stasis and Force Dash, are techniques that are known to be extremely difficult to master, even among the most gifted Jedi Masters. This, along with the visible ease at which she is able to use these abilities, arguably makes F one of the strongest Jedi survivors of Order 66 and one of the most powerful Force wielders during the time of the Empire.
  • F bears a number of similarities with her fellow Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Cal Kestis.
    • All of them are padawans who lost their masters during Order 66.
    • All of them struggle to overcome the deep-seated trauma from their masters' deaths in order to become Jedi Knights.
    • All are human.
