Main Timeline[]
Early Life[]
Not much of Falco's early history is known, but he has attended the military academy, before leaving to take part in gangs such as the Hot Rodders gang along with Katt Monroe and Free-as-a-Bird, of which he led for a time being. Around the time Andross threatened the Lylat System again, he received an invitation from Fox McCloud to help form a new Star Fox team to help fight against the evil forces, he accepted without hesitation.

Falco's communications channel
Falco played a major role during the Lylat Wars. He was horrified by the damage done to Corneria City and halfway through the first level, Falco will be tailed by three foes and what Fox does determines whether what happens to Falco and whether he would take a new route or not. If Fox takes too long to save him, he will be forced to withdraw from the battlefield and miss out on the new route. If Fox saves Falco from enemy forces, he will have to go through all of the stone hollows in order to impress Falco, but if he misses even one, they go to Granga to take the Easy Route, while going through all of them with Falco around, will lead him to make a request to Fox to follow his route to the Attack Carrier that takes them through the Hard Route.

In Solar, he will be tailed by foes and tells it to leave him alone and when he is saved, he remarks that he almost got burned. He is visibly shocked that Andross was that insane when he saw the bioweapon Vulcain. After the fight with Spyborg, he was annoyed that they had to rescue Slippy after the latter's recklessness in getting too close and swatted all the way to Titania. At Titania he again received help from Fox and provided backup. After they rescued Slippy, he remarked that they always have "to save his hide". At Zoness, he was angered that they polluted the planet and was surprised that Katt had come to help, saying "Katt, what are you doing here?", but after they destroyed the Sarumarine, he noticed that Katt was missing and wonder where she went, but whether she appears at Macbeth or Sector Z, Falco will end up being annoyed with her again. At Fichina and Bolse he fought with Leon of Star Wolf again and defeated him. At the Battle of Venom he again defeated Leon, and was ordered by Fox to stay while he fought Andross, despite Falco being against it. When Fox came back when the Easy Route is taken, he admitted that Fox did good. In the Hard Route, he truly praises him. He was then seen going to the reward ceremony, and looked as if he wasn't paying attention to General Pepper. He was then seen, along with the rest of the team, to be seen running back to the Great Fox.

Falco reunites with the Hot Rodders gang
Four years after the events of the Lylat Wars, the Great Fox and their vehicles are beginning to deteriorate and the Star Fox Team, especially Falco, are becoming increasingly agitated and desperate to at least have something to do that would get them out of the heap. The team then receives a distress signal from Titania by Katt, which Falco answers to without the team's approval. He then saved her and the other Hot Rodders from another Goras. After the battle, he learned from her that Captain Shears seems to be doing research on Andross's projects, and she doesn't trust their motives as she believes that they have a dark secret. Katt asked Falco if he found anyone special in his life, to which he replied that he does not plan on settling down with a woman anytime soon, Falco also asked Katt the same thing and ambiguously replied that there was someone else she was interested in. The next day, Katt introduced Falco to the Free-As-A-Bird gang on board their mother ship, River-Pig. The Rat was very happy and enthusiastic to have Falco on their team, while Cool claimed he was just relieved that Falco didn't leave Katt to die in the desert but it was soon cut short when the team's ship was then attacked by Star Fox (Captain Shears previously told them that the ship belonged to the remnants of Andross's army), which gets Falco into a dogfight with Fox, which ended up in a draw, and Falco's ship being critically damaged, thus forcing him to crash-land in the desert so he can fix it, while commenting that, Fox seemed quite impressive in the dogfight (or Falco felt he had either gotten worse).

Falco and Katt speaking with each other about Captain Shears' true motivations behind a dark project.
Later, Falco returned to protect the Hot Rodders yet again from Goras by soaring into its jaws and manipulating it's spitfire steam with his own barriers and slicing through its body with his ship at a high speed, this time, destroying it for good, as his first fight against it ended with it retreating. Falco saw that Cool saved Katt from being crushed by the falling remains of Goras, making a guess that there may be a romance forming between them and accepts the two of them together. Then in the aftermath of the Titianian base battle, Falco leaves the Star Fox Team, mentioning how he's going to "go it alone for a while", also telling Fox, who had recently defeated a newly resurrected Andross clone, to tell Katt and Cool to leave the Hot Rodders while he wanders the galaxy to see where life would take him.

Falco returning during the battle with Andross
Falco is absent for the majority of the crisis up until the endgame. Shortly after Andross's resurrection on the currently broken dinosaur planet named Sauria, Falco managed to make a full-scale return to save Fox during the final battle and supplied him with Smart Bombs during the battle. Despite being a major threat, Andross pays no attention to him as he is too focused on attacking Fox to bother dealing with him

Falco rejoining the Star Fox team after Andross is finally defeated.
After Andross is finally destroyed for good, Falco enters the Great Fox and is enthusiastic to return to the team and asked to rejoin the team, to which Fox accepted with open arms. When Krystal came aboard the ship and Fox showed obvious signs of being in love with her, Falco doesn't comment on it, but silently encouraged him.

Falco at the bridge, ready to take on the Oikonny Rebellion.
A year after the events of Star Fox Adventures, Falco and his teammates arrived at Fortuna at the request of the Cornerian Defense Force to contend with the rebellion led by Andrew Oikonny, who left the Star Wolf Team to take up the late Andross's role as the leader of the Androssians.

Falco running with his teammates.
Falco was the first to realize that their job was to stop the rebellion by silencing Oikonny for good and he followed his teammates to the Arwings and pursued Oikonny to the surface of Fortuna. Once they catch up to Oikonny, Falco pokes fun at him for trying to emulate his uncle. Upon Oikonny's defeat, Falco witnessed a moth-like Aparoid destroy Oikonny's ship while almost attacking Krystal. Falco helps Fox fight the Aparoid and gets back to the Great Fox after it was destroyed.
There, he listened as Beltino Toad and General Pepper explained the Aparoid menace and an Aparoid attack that took place seventeen years prior. Falco and the team were then ordered by General Pepper to investigate a distress signal from Katina. Falco and the rest of the team stayed in the air as Fox used his Landmaster tank to take out the Aparoids from the ground. When Fox was ambushed by an enormous Aparoid walker, Falco was unable to help in the battle, but Fox destroyed the creature alone. Without warning, Pigma Dengar, who was responsible for the distress signal, turned off the call and left the base and stole the Core Memory from the Aparoid which Fox tried to retrieve and the Star Fox team regrouped in the Great Fox.
They pursued Pigma to the Sargasso Space Hideout where they lost track of him and one of the ruffians hacked into their communication's channel and Falco demanded his identity. Fox ordered Falco and Krystal to take to the space front while he and Slippy handle the enemy teleporters within the base. Once Fox destroyed all of the teleporters, Star Wolf, who had been in hiding since the Lylat Wars, appeared. Falco fought against Leon once more until Fox defeated them. After the battle, Falco gets into a small debate with Star Wolf's newest member, Panther Caroso. Panther, who is infatuated with Krystal soon told the team where to find Pigma that he is at Fichina and the two teams left the base.

Falco changes his mind about going on foot at Fichina, revealing his aversion to cold temperatures.
Upon their arrival at Fichina, Falco complained that the planet was freezing, to which Fox responded that the planet had a climate control device that helped make Fichina habitable for life. Peppy revealed that the device was done and Fox went down to fix it. Falco is upset about Fox being the hero, but changes his mind due to his dislike of cold temperatures. When Fox was attacked by Aparoid-infected sentry bots, Falco flew down to save him and told Fox to ride on his wing while Peppy sent an Arwing down to him. Pigma then appeared and Falco chased after him but he had to stop when an Aparoid infected the climate control device. Falco landed as the Arwing arrived and Fox got off and continued to help Fox fight the Aparoid and the creature was defeated without causing too much damage to the device.

Falco after saving Fox from the infected sentry robots and asking him not to fall off of his wing.
The team followed Pigma to the Meteo Asteroid Belt and Falco scoffed at Pigma for trying to hide in an asteroid belt and Fox asked why he followed his team to the base Pigma had built in the Asteroid Belt and Falco was present when the team encountered Pigma's horrific mutation into a giant Aparoid, but their combined efforts of the team destroyed the assimilated robot and reclaimed the Core Memory.

Falco scoffs at Pigma trying to hide in the asteroid belt.
Upon their return to the Great Fox, the team sent the Core Memory to Beltino so he can track the location of the Aparoid Homeworld. However, Krystal received a telepathic message from Sauria that the Aparoids were attacking the dinosaur inhabitants. Fox was forced to delay the attack on the Aparoid Homeworld to help the dinosaurs turn back the invasion. Falco once again stayed in his Arwing and fought in the air while exchanging snark with Slippy. When Fox and Krystal began flirting before the mission begins, Falco took up the job of reminding them that they still have to deal with the Aparoids first and headed out. Falco and Slippy kept the skies clear as Fox and Krystal freed the ground of hatchers and left when their job was finished.
When Fox and Krystal returned to the Great Fox, they received a distress signal from General Pepper saying that Corneria City and the defense force had suffered a major Aparoid invasion. They soon lost contact with Pepper, prompting the team to head down to Corneria to destroy a series of radar jammers. Falco once again sulks about Fox going alone with Fox explaining that he couldn't risk all of them dying and Falco concedes and if anything happened to him, he will be granted leadership to Falco. While the team was fighting, Falco realized that the enemies they were fighting were probably Aparoid-infected Cornerians and was later just as surprised as anyone else when Fox was saved by Wolf and his team of all people from the Aparoids. Unfortunately, he was too shocked to do anything while Fox dealt with General Pepper, infected by the Aparoids and Peppy managed to slow the General's fall.

Falco is sad over Peppy and ROB's sacrifice
The team flew to the space around Corneria where the Beltino Orbital Gate was found and Beltino himself, revealed that they had found the Aparoid Homeworld and the Aparoids' weakness to apoptosis and is working on the self-destruct program to use against the Aparoid Queen, the mother of all Aparoids. The gate was then attacked by a series of missiles, but the Star Fox and Star Wolf teams managed to destroy the missiles and headed to the Aparoid Homeworld. Falco was present when the team first found the homeworld and he stayed in the air while Fox destroyed the Aparoid hatchers on the ground.

Falco during the ending screen.
With the hatchers taken out, the team attempted to enter the Aparoid Queen's lair, but a new energy shield blocked their way. Peppy, flying the now critically damaged Great Fox, was forced to drive the ship into the shield and destroy it to let the team through. A visibly distraught Falco desperately tried to talk him out of it, but failed and the Great Fox crashed into the homeworld and despite the strong emotions going around, the team then flew into the depths of the planet. They were followed by Star Wolf and Falco and Leon argued often while the teams soared through the caverns, but Star Wolf was forced to lure the Aparoids away from Star Fox before the battle with the queen. During the battle with the queen, she imitated the voices of several people, including Fox's father, James. Falco reminded Fox of his father's beliefs and death and Fox snapped back at him that James would never tell him to give up, but Wolf's advice to just act allowed them to shrug off the mental assault. The team then fought the queen and fired the self-destruct program into her, but the queen fought off the program and began to escape, prompting the team to follow the queen and destroy her, executing the program. With all Aparoids dead, the team fled from the planet and escaped to safety. Upon their success, Falco rejoiced in the team's victory, especially once they found that Peppy and ROB had barely survived the Great Fox's destruction through an escape pod. It didn't take long for Falco to learn that Fox knew about this from the start. Falco proceeded to ask Fox what would happen next, but Fox thanks his team for his support.
Anglar Blitz[]
Years afterward, the team disbands and Falco wanders around the Lylat, looking for jobs. He has his own custom ship, the Sky Claw. While he does help defeat the Anglar Empire, what happens in the endings will determine what ends up doing and where he will be. He will either rejoins the team, joins the new Star Fox team with Marcus, Peppy's granddaughter, and Slippy's son, forms his own team, or even retires with Fox to become racers. However, these events are considered to be non-canon.
Star Fox Zero[]
Falco returns in "Zero" acting in his familiar roles he held previously. During the battle against the Monarch Dodora, Slippy suggests that Falco should try talking to it for reasoning, Falco however reacts in disgust by rejecting the idea since being avians doesn't automatically make them friends.
