The Family of Five are overarching characters in the Camping Franchise, they are a family with 3 children who accidentally ran over Emma Logan.
Overview[]
Hotel[]
The Family make their first chronological appearance in Hotel, they are first seen when the Players are hiding in a room, and they come to the room they are hiding in and ask if they know what the Alarm was about, the Players tell the family that its about a monster, however they don't believe them atall and tell the Players they have an exhausting day of camping in Specky Woods planned tomorrow. We see them at the end of the game in the good ending, where they are revealed to have survived Limbo's attack.
Mansion[]
They are hardly relevant in this game, as they are only mentioned once by Zach Nolan, and he seems to have invited the family to come to the dinner party, and infact made the whole dinner party because of them, however they didn't shown up leaving Zach Nolan visibly upset, and he talks about how they "ruined everything."
Camping 1[]
They play a minor role in this one, as we don't actually see them atall, however there is a poster saying that they went to the camp the Players went too, and have gone missing. It's later revealed that they were killed by Zach Nolan, as revenge for running over his daughter. However The Son managed to survive and went on to become the Nightmare by unknown means, going mad at the fact that he can't let any more murders happen here, he tries to kidnap and kill the secret murderer who is in the group.
Camping 2[]
They don't show up as a group here, but in the good ending The Son stops Zach Nolan from killing the Players, by brutally cutting his head off, therefore killing him, however he is later resurrected.
Camping 3[]
In the final act of camping 3, the group appears while mouse and limbo are trying to kill the players by taking the wagon there in, the family is trying to bring them to safety, however the son appears and makes a big explosion, stopping both. He says he wants to put an end to all of this, and kill everyone once and for all, the father says he's sorry for killing his daughter, and that he understands how it feels to lose a loved one. This prompts Zach Nolan to have a redemption and forgive the father, and finally end his life by sacrificing it to save the very players he wanted to kill.
