Fan Scrooge is a minor character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. She is the late little sister of Ebenezer Scrooge and the mother of Fred.

Biography
In a vision made by the Ghost of Christmas Past, Fan comes to take her brother home for the holidays, saying that their father is much kinder than he used to be. The Ghost reminds Scrooge that Fan died giving birth to Scrooge's nephew Fred, whom Scrooge blamed because Fan was the only joy in his life.
It was Fan that brought Scrooge back from boarding school after being neglected by his father. Years later, Fan, died giving birth to Fred. Scrooge often blamed Fred for this, since Fan was the only joy in his life.
Trivia
- She is absent from The Muppets Christmas Carol.
- In the 1951 version, Fan was Scrooge's older sister as opposed to his younger sister.
