The Fantastic Four are major characters in the 2024 hero shooter game Marvel Rivals.

They are a group of superheroes who were given powers after being exposed to cosmic radiation during a space mission. They are also major players in the war against Dracula and his vampires.

History

Years before the events of the game, the group of humans that would become the fantastic four were chosen fore a space mission. However, the mission went wrong, and the team was exposed to comic radiation. The radiation mutated their bodies, giving them superhuman powers. Now calling themselves the Fantastic Four, they became some of the greatest superheroes in the world.

Over the years, the team had many adventures and saved entire planets. Reed Richards and Susan Storm also got married, and they had two children named Franklin and Valeria.

After Dracula and his vampires locked New York in Eternal Night, the Fantastic Four became major players in protecting the city, rescuing civilians and undergoing missions to stop their enemies. The team also allied with other heroes, such as the Avengers.

Mister Fantastic

Mister Fantastic is the team leader. He is easily the smartest member of the team and perhaps one of the smartest people on the planet. He is the one who created the team's technology. Between his inventions and leadership, he is a massive factor in the team's success.

Invisible Woman

Invisible Woman is the voice of reason for the team. She is the most level headed member and the main reason the team is able to function as a cohesive unit. She has the biggest heart out of the team and frequently shows sympathy to others.

Human Torch

Compared to his teammates, the Human Torch is very hotheaded, both figuratively and literally. He is very much a casanova and frequently hits on women. He also has a friendly rivalry with The Thing.

Thing

Since The Thing's skin was physically turned into rock by the cosmic radiation, he acts as the teams muscle. He is generally grumpy and pessimistic, though he does have a much softer side to him.

H.E.R.B.I.E.

Main article: H.E.R.B.I.E.

H.E.R.B.I.E. is the team's artificial intelligence. While not a core member of the team, he is still a valuable asset. Sometime after the vampires took over New York, H.E.R.B.I.E. formed a bond with Iron Man's virtual assistant, F.R.I.D.A.Y., even going out into the city to help her.
