Goals

Save the Bermuda Galaxy from the Space Pirates.

Destroy the Space Pirate Base.
Destroy Talvanian Metroids and Elite Pirates and retrieve Metroid Egg on Talvanian.

	~ The ending of Metroid Prime: Federation Force

The Federation Force is the titular protagonists in their only appearance in Metroid Prime: Federation Force. They are composed of four high ranking Federation Marines who assume control of Mech Suits based on Samus Aran's Power Suit, in hopes of being better prepared for future Space Pirate attacks.

Biography[]

Since the events of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption where all Phazon had been obliterated as a result of Phaaze's ultimate destruction, the Galactic Federation looked for a way to help be ready to take on the Space Pirates if they appear again, so they turned to Project Golem where they created Mechs, which are special armor suits that are a take on Samus's Power Suit to be used by the Federation's top soldiers. The Federation Force were deployed by Sir Alex Miles at the Bermuda System, which is a three-planet solar system to do an archaeological survey expedition there, when they find themselves getting involved when they find that the Space Pirates have taken over all three planets, Excelcion, Talvania, and Bion. In response to this, the Federation Force work together to stop the Space Pirate threat and are allied with Samus Aran, who helps them out until she mysteriously disappeared, which had the team search for her. They find out that she had been captured and held at the Space Pirates' mothership, the Doomseye, where she was also placed under mind control along with an increase in size, which forces the team to fight and defeat her where she was presumably crushed under debris. During the fight against the Elite Space Pirates, Samus returns the favor by defeating them before escaping the Doomseye, and the Federation Force attempts to do the same, but they failed to do so on time as they get pulled into the vacuum of space. Just as all hope was lost, Samus manages to catch them with her Gunship. The Force are brought back to the G.F.S. Aegis where they are recognized as galactic heroes.
