Felix Saint Stanislaus is the main protagonist of Morris Gleitzman's Once series. He was a Jewish child (now grandfather), who loved writing stories. Felix also managed to survive the Holocaust, a place where Jews were sent to work until they die of exhaustion.
Personality[]
Felix was originally an optimistic child that was living in an orphanage in Poland, who had a very big imagination. However, he learnt the horrors of the war after being sent to a ghetto, leaving him dumbfounded and hesitant throughout his life.
Appearance[]
Felix is a Jewish boy with large glasses, brown shirt, black pants and leather boots. He was plump and little in the beginning when he arrived (aged 6) at the orphanage, dropped off by his parents so that they could go far away to work.

- He could be based off from Martin Kapel, whom also survived the holocaust, albeit IRL.
