“ | Give up? Give up?! The day may come when we'll give up on fruitless searches after a mere 11 minutes, but that day is not today. The day may come when our favorite reptile may be lost from our memories and his enduring love of mushrooms forgotten, but that day is not today! Today we search! We will search for him in the streets, we will search for him in the trenches, we will search for him in the alleys and the mini-malls and the cul-de-sacs of this fair land. We will search for him in the multi-level car parks and municipal recreation facilities. And we few, we happy few, we small band of brothers - and girl from across the street - we shall not cease 'til he is found! | „ |
~ Ferb's speech in "The Lizard Whisperer" |
Ferbs "Ferb" Fletcher (born February 29th, 2001) is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Phineas Flynn) of the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb, the titular deuteragonist of its 2011 film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension, and the titular tritagonist of its 2020 film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe.
He is the son of Lawrence Fletcher and an unnamed mother, the step-son of Linda Flynn-Fletcher, and the younger step-brother of Phineas Flynn and Candace Flynn. He is a British Fletcher child currently living in Danville and the best friend of his step-brother Phineas. He also has a crush on Dr. Doofenshmirtz' daughter Vanessa. In Act Your Age, he started a relationship with Vanessa.
He was born in England to Lawrence and an unknown woman sometime in the late 1990s. Sometime after this, his mother either died or left Lawrence and so after this Ferb and his father moved to America where Lawrence got married to a woman named Linda Flynn who had two children she had from a previous relationship, a daughter named Candace and a son named Phineas whom Ferb became friends with. Ferb rarely talks, saying only a few words and on some occasions a full sentence.
He is voiced by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who also portrays Newt in the Maze Runner film series and voices John Tracy in Thunderbirds Are Go. In the Japanese dub from the series, he is voiced by Kōki Miyata.
Overview[]
Ferb is Phineas's stepbrother and best friend. A quiet and stoic boy who usually says no more than one or two lines per episode. He's also a mechanical genius who gladly helps his brother assemble whatever contrived contraption they need for their latest scheme.
Physical Appearance[]
Ferb is a Caucasian boy who has a rectangular head and green hair. He wears a collared cream-colored shirt with a button, very high-waisted dark purple pants with a light purple belt and black tennis shoes.

He is bilingual and very fluent in French, Japanese, Martian, dolphin, and possibly more, he sings and can dramatically change the pitch of his voice. He also has an expanded vocabulary
Ferb has mechanical and technological skills. He has almost single-handily built a roller coaster and track, a real radio-controlled race car, several arenas and stadiums, a space laser (which was supposed to be an ice cream maker but the plans got accidentally switched), a monster truck, a shrinking submarine, and a time machine as well as helping build many other things. He has also proven to be good at cooking, being a chef at Chez Platypus and at Phineas and Ferb's truck stop diner, and also has great dancing skills, which he helps Jeremy with for Candace on a national dance show
